2 - I MISSED YOU

Daniel, he was like a whole different person. His hair was no longer down, it was styled very nicely with hair gel, his bare forehead showing. His shoulders had grow broader, he became so much taller. He was like a different person to Min Gi. Even his aura was different. Did training to become a pilot made him change like this?

His eyes were wide, like he was shocked and confused. But soon, that expression dissapeared. He stared at Min Gi. He looked blank, like he didn't recognize Min Gi at all. No one could guess what was going through in his mind. Min Gi? Is that her? She reminds me of Min Gi but she looks different. "Why are you searching for me?" Daniel said blankly, there was no tone in his voice. Not a curious tone, not a confused tone, not an angry tone, it was just like a robot saying stuffs kind of tone.

Min Gi was shocked, so many questions were in her head. She was crying already. She did not know why she cried. But all Daniel did was to look at her. Daniel did not have the urge to comfort her. Daniel turned cold and made a stern look. Min Gi wanted to ask alot of questions but Daniel looked like he didn't want to answer. Daniel looked like he did not care.

"D-Daniel... I-Is that you?" Min Gi asked weakly.

Daniel finally blinked and stood up straight. In his heart, he wanted to hug Min Gi tightly but his mind was stopping him. "Yes." Daniel answered coldly. There were sparkles in his eyes. He couldn't bear to see Min Gi crying, just like the past. "Stop crying, you should be happy to see me," Daniel said coldly and knocked Min Gi's head. Min Gi continued crying but smiled a little when she rubbed her head. She knew Daniel cared when Daniel asked her to stop crying but Daniel never knocked her head before.

Min Gi wiped her tears and stared at Daniel. Daniel never hit Min Gi before, this was the first time. Daniel never spoke this coldly to Min Gi before. Min Gi thought Daniel must really have changed over these years. She wondered what happened to him. Daniel looked down at Min Gi and soothed her head, probably feeling bad for hitting her. Why is Daniel like this? He hit me and then he is now being kind? Min Gi thought and stared again at Daniel. She wanted to hug him. But everything was different already, she wanted to feel the same but it changed.

Min Gi removed Daniel's hand gently and looked at him in the eyes. "You changed... Alot. And I have so many questions for you, so many," Min Gi said. "You changed alot too, Min Gi." Daniel said coldly, making Min Gi shed more tears. "Seriously, stop crying, if not I will knock your head again," Daniel said and looked away, still can't look at Min Gi crying. "Then stop being mean and cold!" Min Gi timidly scolded him.

"Why did you change?" Min Gi asked softly. "Min Gi, that's not a question I can answer. All people change, especially within 6 years. You changed too. Next question." Daniel coldly answered, with a quiet and blank tone.

"Daniel, I was lonely ever since you left. I almost never wanted to see the light of day. You left without any notice and reasons. I hate you a lot, I really hate you for that. I wanted to go to you but my parents didn't allow me. I didn't even know your number there. I hate you so much, you left me alone. I hate you!" Min Gi cried, looking right into Daniel's eyes. Daniel's heart shattered hearing those words but he couldn't do anything at that time. Daniel wanted to apologize and comfort her. "Min Gi, I'm really sorry" Daniel apologized, finally with a sincere and comforting tone.

"I actually miss you Daniel. I'm glad we met." Min Gi sobbed. "I will go right now."

Daniel quickly wrote his number on a tissue and handed it to Min Gi before she left. "Just in case," Daniel said with no emotions now. Min Gi noticed the pilot uniform on his body. Min Gi opened her mouth in amusement. "You.... you are a pilot now?? Ya! Daniel!!!" Min Gi was blushing and fangirling at her teenage lover. Daniel returned a stern face back to Min Gi and she stopped blushing before walking away.

Min Gi did not lie but she really heard this, "I miss you too, Min Gi,". It was really soft for anyone to hear but to Min Gi, it was audible. Min Gi smiled.
