leaving home wasnt easy.. but i guess thats what i had to do when it came to what i wanted out of life. just a month ago I was offered a job in london to work for the famous magazine vogue. my dad and older brother, noah wernt to happy about it but they where still supportive because they new thats what i really wanted to do.
As i walked down the busy streets of london in the pouring rain i started to think about my family, well whats left of it, back home. my mum died of leukemia when i was just 5, im 20 now so im over the greaving stage but i still dont like to talk about it. I dont really like to talk about alot in general, id rather express what im feeling through my photos becuase ive always felt no one really cares or listens to what i have to say.
i sat up on the ledge of an old foot bridge just of the main streets of London that dosnt get used an awful lot. Even though its raining its the perfect time to take some shots. i start at vogue in just 3 days and im quit nervous to be completly honest. as i try to capture light rain drops hitting the crafted bridge rail next to me i felt someon watching me. i didn't make any of it because its probably just some old person thinking of how stupid i am to be out in the pooring rain taking photos.
i sat there for about another 5 minutes and then decided to call it a day as it was well past 4 in the afternoon. I headed of to grab myself a cup of coffee at my local coffee shop. As i took a seat in the cozzy caffee i ordered my usual and stared out the window into the busy streets of this beautifal city.
the arciture of the old buildings and the big ben make it an amazing scene. As my name is called for my coffee to be collected someone walked through the door, i quickly turn around to see who the person was but came face to face with a tall blonde haired boy who looks to be around my age, crystal blue eyes a surprisingly charming smile.
"hey love", his smiled showing his dimples, he looked Down at me with a rather chirpy glint in his eyes, "Um sorry" is all i could think to say as i stepped out of his way so he can order. he let out a deep chuckle and stuck out his hand. "im luke, i Haven't seen you around here before, did you just move here". all i could do was stare at his hand, I'm not to fond of making any physical contact with anyone really but I decided to be polite, "im alex" I trailed of blankly not wanting go answer the question he asked since it was none of his business.
he stared at me for a couple of seconds before swiflty saying "thats a beautifal name" he paused and looked me straight In they eye before it was his turn to move up to order, "I guess ill cya round" i looked at him for a little longer as he passed me but decided to brush it of as I quickly made my way out of the coffee shop and towards my apartment.
"How can one he so chirpy" I muttered to no one in particular.
after a 5 minute walk from the coffee shop in the rain i finally unlocked the door to my small apartment and throw the keys on the white table in the hall way. i heard my cats bell ringing as she came into sight and brushes my leg.
"hey mittins" i sang as i picked my 2 year old ginger cat into my arms. i slide down the wall and place her in my lap. The boy I bumped into was quite unusual to say the lest. he was fairly attractive but I was intrigued by his chirpy Attitude and his bad ass lip ring... i quickly shake myself out of my little daze and hed to the kitchen to make myself some tea.
