your touch sends shivers down my body, shivers of delight,
tingles of the pleasure to come, your light caress shows the depth of love,
don't deny me your touch, the emotions running through, slowly if feel u shut down,
pull away, you no longer hold me, my touch repulses you,
these hands that once brought you pleasure and happiness, repulse,
the disgruntled look on your face, it's heart wrenching,
as i move towards you, the flinch tells it all.
no longer do you find attraction or beauty. i give all that i have but its not enough,
with open arms i give, yet you can never return with gratitude or love,
how can you only want to receive but never to reciprocate, no interest in my feelings or thoughts,
only hurt comes from you, yet i stay looking forward to love returned.
your touch is like thorns, piercing my skin with all your indifference, yet i stay torn in two,
fighting for love and to regain what was before, a losing battle, your caress and touch no longer reserved for me,
angela, its all for her, the name whispered while in the throngs of passion.
the woman you dream of , the one you see when you glance at me,
i turn looking for your warmth, only coldness and emptness greets me,
where are the promises made, promises made at the altar
promises no longer fulfilled only empty hurt and pains left behind.
