Chapter 2

Steven's POV
I began to make my way over to the gems. I could hear the crunching sound of the leaves and grass break underneath my shoes.
I kept the gem in my pocket and I began to see a clearing in the forest as I see the gems standing on the warp talking. I see Pearl look over at me. "Hey, Steven!" She said as she raised her right arm and made a wave motion.
"Hey guys!" I said in a cheery tone, I felt my heart began to race. Soon my breathing became a little fast, I was nervous that the gems would ask me if I found anything when I was exploring the opposite direction they were. "So did you guys find what you guys were looking for?" I asked them with a curious look on my face. "Yep!" Amethyst said as she intruded onto the conversation. I smiled, "Thats good." Garnet nodded her head and we teleported back to the Gem temple.
We made our way home and the gems make their way inside the temple. Amethyst went outside, Garnet and Pearl went in the temple and I was alone in the house with a gem in my pocket.
I waited to see if anyone would come out or in, but it was silent. I soon reach my hand into my pocket and feel a smooth gem. I pull it out and walk over to the couch and sit down.
I stare at the pink gem, it was in the shape of a diamond. It was almost as big as my hand, it had a light pinkish color. I wonder if this was a gem or a diamond. I thought for awhile, I look around to see if anyone was watching, but I see no one. I hold the gem carefully in my hand, I soon see it getting lighter, and lighter and soon it was practically glowing.
I soon gasp and my eyes widen as the gem levitates from my hand . The gem that had the point facing down soon turned over so now the point of the diamond was facing up and the flat side was pointing downwards.
I was in shock, I soon see a figure start to form from the Gem. It was tall like Garnet and Stevonnie. I see the Gem turn a pink color, it looked like it was in a ballerina outfit, she had short light pink hair, it didn't seem to go past her neck. Her outfit was a two piece, and it was also pink like her skin. She was bent over on the ground kneeling with one hand on her right leg and her left arm on the ground holding her balance. I get up from the couch and began to walk over to her to see if she needed any help.
I heard her groan as she began to move and look around the room. She then took notice of me and turned around quickly with a scared look on her face. She looked like she was panicking, "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you." I said to her as I stuck out my hand and giving her a friendly smile. She calmed down and gently stuck out her hand still not trusting me.
She looked up at me, her eyes were pink and had diamonds in them. She looked beautiful, i felt a blush form on my face. She gave me a confused look, and I felt her place her hand on mine and I helped pull her up. She was almost as tall as me, our faces were about a couple of inches apart.
I blush madly, she backs up and gives me another confused look. "Who are you?" I asked her, in a gently voice. "I-I'm Pink Diamond" she said my eyes widen at he sound of her name. "P-Pink Diamond.." I said to myself in a quiet tone so she couldn't hear me. She gives me another confused look. I soon hear someone burst through the front door. It was Connie, my girlfriend she was smiling her hair was wavy and blowing in the wine. She had a smile on her face and she was carrying a sword in her other right hand and her left hand pressed against the wooden door.
She gasped and took out her sword and got in a fighting stance. She gave the pink gem a death glare, if looks could kill Pink would be dead right where she is standing. I look over at Pink who had a worried look on her face. I summon my shield and stand in front of her.
"Steven what are you doing?" Connie said to me in a worried tone. "I will not let you hurt Pink Diamond, Connie." I said to her un-summoning my shield. She takes her sword and starts to lower it and puts it back in its scabbard. "We need to talk" I said in a serious tone.
