Lucy's POV
I've finally arrived at the park.... I wonder what Natsu wants to talk about? Probably a mission... Imagine if he wanted to talk about something else for a change... Wouldn't that be nice. Today I wore this new dress I bought recently, I told myself I just wanted to try it on, it's totally not because this is a date. Natsu wouldn't even notice anyway...
*sigh*
Upon my arrival I spot Natsu's flaming pink hair, I race to him... Just before I arrive to greet him I spot someone else with him. A girl...Lisanna. Oh, is she joining Natsu, Happy and I on this mission?
I know I should probably go up to them to let them know I'm here but I somehow feel like I would be intruding on an important moment. So I observe them for a few minutes... I notice that they are sitting awfully close... God, what am I thinking? Haha...this is ridiculous, I should really just go meet them!
Lisanna grabs Natsu's arm and...she leans in and kisses him on the cheek.
It's not like she kissed him on the mouth... So why do I feel so...jealous...?
Did he possibly invite me here to watch their declaration of love to each other? No, Natsu isn't like that..he wouldn't hurt me purposely...would he?
This has nothing to do with me! It's their own private business.
Ughh... I need to leave, I'd better get home and give them some privacy..
As I walk on the river bank I hear a familiar voice shout my name:
"Lucy! shouts Happy"
"Hi, Happy..."
"Lucy? What's up?"
"Not much, are you looking for Natsu?"
"Aye sir! Have you seen him around lately?"
"As a matter of a fact... I saw him about 5 minutes ago, at the park."
"Ok thanks Lucy! Are you alright?"
"Yes yes, don't worry about me! I think it's probably the lack of sleep, I've done a few all nighters because of my book writing. As soon as I start I find it hard to stop", I lie.
"Oh I see, I can't wait to read it!"
"Haha... I don't know, it's way too embarrassing!!!"
"Don't be embarrassed it's only me, who would I tell?" he says sarcastically.
"Hmm... I don't know, all of Magnolia probably."
He laughs as he flies towards the park.
He somehow always knows when something's wrong with me...
I arrive home. I think back to the events of today... It saddens me, so I decide on a long hot soak in the tub and an early night to clear my thoughts.
I never thought of Natsu and I as a couple but...I don't know. My oh my, what is this dragon slayer doing to me? I'll talk to Levy about it, after all she's the expert on dating dragon slayers.
*laugh*
I wonder how she copes?
