Natsu's POV
"Tch"
"What's bothering you? I thought you were happy that you and Lucy were finally together." Gray says to me.
"I am." I answer coldly, "yea, I can see that" he rolls his eyes at me.
"You got a problem, snow flake?" I ask in response to his smart ass remark.
"Are you trying to provoke me, flames for brains?!" he grabs me by my scarf.
I look away, I really didn't need this from this douchbag!
"Natsu... Look at me!" I look him in the eyes "what?".
"That's exactly what I want to ask you, what is up with you?" he lets go of me.
"Did you guys already argue?" he asks trying to make eye contact.
"She...*mumbles*...me" I try to speak.
"WHAT?" he screams "speak louder, flame eater".
"Lucy went off without saying anything to me..." I repeat,more clearly this time.
He looks at me as if I just grew a set of wings, "just for that?" I nod embarrassed in front of this poser.
He punches me in the shoulder, "you jealous prick" he sighs.
"Ouch!".
"Do you expect her to report her whole life back to you?" he asks me in all honesty. "Noo..." I answer to his question. "Then get over yourself" he crosses his arms.
"Gray..." I start. "Shut up, you'll make me gag...." he looks back at me "you're welcome". We both smirk.
Lucy's POV
"Listen Juvia..." I start, she holds up her hand. "Juvia wants to apologise for thinking of you as her love rival when in fact you've been clearly in awe of Natsu this whole time...", "I wouldn't say in awe" I mumble as I scratch my head.
"I am very sorry" she holds out her hand. I shake my head and pull her in for a hug, "let's start over Juvia" I let go of her "ok?" I ask. "That would please Juvia very much so" she answers with a massive smile. "So Lucy, now that we're friends...can I ask you something?" she turns away shyly. "Anything, let's go sit down first" I say moving towards a booth of the guild.
"Do you...do you think Gray is sick of being with me?" she looks at me, God...she looks like she's tearing up. "It's just...this is everything Juvia could have ever hoped for. I just don't think Gray likes me as much as I like him" she adds sadly.
"Do you mean because of earlier?" I ask hesitantly. "I guess...I just don't know how Juvia can be sure he likes me or if he is in fact tolerating me". "Earlier was because he didn't want to appear in sorcerer weekly with you...", she interrupts me "is Gray ashamed of me?" she starts tearing up. Poor thing, she holds him so dear.... "No, he just.... I don't know if he wants all the advertising. Look, I'm really not the person to talk to this about. You should be talking to him about your doubts." I answer. "Juvia doesn't want to trouble Gray with all this..." she twiddles her thumbs. "You could always try Erza, she's know him for...forever it feels. She's probably the best person if you don't want to speak directly to Gray." I say. It's true, their practically brother and sister. If anyone know him it's her.
"Juvia is thankful. I'll go see her tonight, after all, we both stay at the Fairy inn" she remarks. "Exactly!" I pat her on the shoulder to ease her thoughts a bit, I hope.
"Lucy gave Juvia advice so it's time she pays her back..." she grabs my hand. "Huh?". "Keep an eye on Natsu, I've seen the way a certain girl looks at him. You two are in a relationship but Natsu can be slightly clueless sometimes" she places my hand back on the table "no offence to him".
A certain girl...? I wonder....who?
Hmm.... "Juvia doesn't like gossiping so...." she looks away as if she regretted what she just said. "Thank you Juvia, I won't tell anyone" I place my hand on her shoulder reassuringly.
As we hed back over to where the boys were, only 20 minutes ago... Nobody's there. "Shall we look outside?" I offer, Juvia nods and follows me. Everyone seems a lot calmer than when the journalist was here, he must've left. "Hello, Lucy." Erza, it's the first time I've seen her today, "hello, how are things?". "I'm healthy. Thanks." weird answer. Okaaay... Anyway, back to the point..."have you seen Gray or Natsu by any chance?" I ask. "Hmm..." she tries to recall for a moment, "oh!" she remembers "I saw Natsu go off with Lisanna earlier!" she exclaims. I look to Juvia, she looks away again. It couldn't possibly be...Lisanna...the girl Juvia was talking about? No, this is probably me overreacting because we just started going out. Yea, that's it! "Is that any help?" Erza pulls me out of the unsettling thought. "Yes, thank you Erza. Helpful and straight to the point as always." I reply. "Juvia will stay here to discuss a certain matter with Erza." Oh right! She wants to ask Erza about Gray. "This is where our paths part then" I giggle "good day" I wave.
After I left Juvia and Erza to talk amongst themselves I went off looking for Natsu. I looked around the guild but no luck. I guess I'll just see him tomorrow then, I hope he won't be upset I didn't see him after I left with Juvia. Oh well... He's partly to ballon for running off like that.
When I wake up I hed to the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea and some breakfast. When I look outside my door I see my morning post. Ughh... Bills, adverts, no personal letters... I do see something I like tho. This week's issue of sorcerer weekly! I chuck the rest of the letters on the table and walk over to my bed and sit down, I'm still in my pyjamas. I get comfy and open up the magazine. Mirajane, always quite the beauty. I flick through until I see what I'm looking for...the couple's top ten. I wonder if Gajeel and Levy are still on top...or 'Gale' as they like to call them. I laugh, what an odd nickname. Hmm...

As I look at the list I discover that there's one I haven't seen here before.
Nali...I wonder who that is? I guess I'll just turn o page number 7 to find out.
