The Walking Dead Imagines/ Preferences

the sun gleamed a little bit more today as you made your way to the edge of Alexandria. people were going on walks with their family and friends, you could tell this is a good day for people. once you got to the wall in the back of the place, you started climbing it to get to the other side.

it took a minute or 2 to get to the top completely, you made sure there were no walkers that you could fall on. you got to the other side, and went off into the woods.  it was silent as you went off to the place where you go to read the comics you had since you got here.
you sat down and stayed reading with your knife by your side. behind you, you heard little branches snap and leafs being stepped on.
you got up and grabbed your knife, walking silently behind a nearby tree.

the sounds got closer and closer until it sounded like it was on a opposite side of the tree. you put your knife up to the thing that was there.
"woah!" Carl screamed. you almost cut his throat, but immediately put the knife down. "were you following me?" you asked.

"i just wanted to read comics with you that's all." you huffed and sat back down. "then read them" you said. he sat next to you and grabbed a comic. you sat in silence, saying things to eachother every now and then. another sound of snapping branches made you two close your books and get up. you went to the same tree and saw about 3 walkers.
carl put a finger up to his lips telling you to be quiet.

the walkers came closer to you and you looked at carl, he smiled back, blushing. you look away and a walker grabbed you. you tried not to scream while fighting it off, carl stabbed it and the other two walkers. you were breathing heavily and carl helped you up.

"Haleigh are you okay? please tell me your okay." you smiled and fixed your ponytail. "yeah yeah i'm good. thank you." you laughed nervously. you always got nervous around him.

"let's go back home." you whispered. he looked at your eyes, lips, your eyes. "yeah, let's go"
