Stringed Love

|Chapter 2|

Aria woke up in a bed with the sun shining through the slits of the blinds. She sat up looking around the room noticing she was all alone. She climbed out of the bed and walked out the door she heard people talking down the hallway. She walked into the kitchen to find Brian standing in front of the refrigerator and Roger sitting at the table. "Hey morning. How did you sleep?" Brian asked while he walked to the island smiling at her. "I slept well but I thought I crashed on the couch?" Brian smiled at her "You said you could but I offered my bed to you and I we kind of talked about it for while until I won the argument!" He laughed a little. They smiled at each other then Roger cleared his throat. "So I guess I'll head out and meet up with Tim he met a new friend named Fred so we are gonna go meet up talk to you later. Bye Aria nice to see you again" Roger got up and headed for the door.

Aria stood in the doorway of the kitchen kind of nervous she's alone with Brian. She could tell he was acting the same exact way. "So would you like some breakfast or tea?" Brian asked moving around the kitchen warming up the teapot on the stove. She walked into the kitchen and stood on the other side of the island "Tea would be fine with me please." She watched him get teacups down from a cabinet and she couldn't help but notice how nice of a body he had she started to blush once he turned around to face her. She looked away fast to try to make it look like she wasn't looking at him, but he noticed. "The tea is almost ready." Brian said while looking at the stove then back at her. "Thank you for letting me stay the night. It means a lot to me that you let me." She said. He smiled and replied "Anytime. I didn't want you to sleep out in the cold." The teapot started to make a high pitch whistle so Brian started pouring the tea and we sat down at the table and talked for a long time until it was evening. She gave him a hug goodbye and left him her number before she headed out back to her dormitory.

A few days pasts and she has not gotten any calls fro Brian. Her friends all told her he only talked to her out of pity and when they said that she never spoke to them again. She was going through her everyday motions, class then work, work then class. She felt alone without her friends or Brian. She was working the later shift and she heard the phone ring, but her boss answered it before she could. "Aria.. Phone call for you!" He yelled from the backroom where the phone was. She walked back there taking the phone from him "Hello?" she asked into the phone "Hi Aria." The voice on the other line was Brian she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. "Oh hi Brian." she could tell he was smiling on the other end of the line "I want to take you out tonight. When do you get off work?" She looked at the clock "In about ten minutes" She told him. "Ok I will pick you up after your shift see you soon." Before she could respond he hung up.

A few minutes later as she was locking up the store his car pulled up and he got out to greet her. "Hi Aria." He said smiling at her opening the car door for her. "Hi and Thank you!" She replied getting into the car. He closed the door and got in the car "I'm sorry I didn't call sooner the band has been getting a little crazy lately." He started driving "It's fine I've been busy too." She somewhat lied to him not letting him know she was freaking out over the past few days. She felt strongly towards him and she hoped he felt the same way. "Where are we going?" She asked looking around out the window. She looked over at him to see him smirking "It's a surprise." He smiled over at me and continued to drive.

After a little bit of time the car finally rolled to a stop and they were on the top of a hill where there was no light pollution so you can see the entire night sky. "Oh my God!" Brian opened the car door and she got out looking in awe at the sky. "Brian this place is just beautiful!" She walked a little farther eyes glued on the sky when she turned around she saw Brian setting up a blanket on the ground. She walked over to him and smiled at him "How long have you been planning this?" She looked at him. Brian smiled "I was planning it for a while just waiting for a time to escape." She walked up to him close enough to smell his cologne. He smelled like a mix of peppermint and lavender. He looked down at her and moved closer and so did she. He leaned in closer to her brushing his lips to hers lightly. She kissed him ever so lightly and then slowly wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

They pulled away from each other looking into each others eyes. He cleared his throat "So you want to sit down?" She smiled at him and nodded as they both sat on the blanket. They spent hours out there looking at the stars and talking to each other. "This is the best night I've ever had in my life." Brian laughed and turned on his side to face her. "Same here" She turned to him and she wanted to kiss him again, she hungered for his soft lips badly. "We should come out here again sometime." He smiled at her hiding the redness of his cheeks. "I would absolutely love that Brian." She moved closer to him and he did the same "Please, call me Bri." he said quietly leaning in to her. They started to kiss slowly then she was on top of him kissing him passionately. He knew he loved her and that she was the one he wanted to be with the rest of his life. He hoped she was thinking the same way he was. After making out for a while they got up and packed up the car to head back to his place for the greatest night of their lives.
