A few days passed since the night she spent with Brian and she couldn't stop smiling over it. She loved him and he loved her. She was in pure heaven being with him until one night she was out with the band and they got in a huge fight. Which caused Brian to be in an awful mood, she knew it wasn't his fault at all. She sat on the couch in his apartment while he was mumbling to himself in the kitchen. She remained quiet knowing if she tried to comfort him he would only push her away. He came back into the living room and sat down on the other end of the couch, far away from her. She thought she should leave but she noticed Brian was drinking a lot too fast. She didn't want to leave him in this state he getting into. Soon Brian noticed she was spacing out "Aria? Are you even listening to me?" He asked her scooting to the edge of the couch. She shook her head "I'm sorry I was lost in my thoughts. What were you saying?" He downed his drink then rolled his eyes "Of course you weren't listening. You never do." She looked at him in shock, but she thought its just the alcohol.

She shifted in her seat trying to not think of what he said. He got up to get another drink and she got up "Brian, don't you think you had enough to drink?" She stood in the doorway to the kitchen he stopped pouring and looked at her "What?" He said kind of snippy. "I said do you think you've had a little too much already." He started laughing and continued pouring his drink. Without looking up he said "I know my limit Aria you don't." He set the bottle down then walked past her into the living room. She stood in the doorway then sighed then turned to the front door grabbing her coat and putting her shoes on. "I'm just gonna go." She said kind of upset and he set his glass down slowly "Why? You don't want to be around me?" He got up walking over to her. She couldn't even look at him because she didn't want to see him like this. "No I just think I should go." She said swallowing hard trying not to look him in the eyes. "Fine leave but if you do I don't think we can see each other again" His words were slurred and they cut her to the bone. She looked up at him tears in her eyes "What?" she exclaimed. He nodded "You heard me. If you leave we are done. You are the reason the band is always fighting. It's better for my future." She looked at him disgusted "Oh, if I was the problem why didn't you dump me a long time ago!" She said to him trying not to raise her voice. He sat there silent not saying a word she rolled her eyes letting out a deep breath "You know what fine...I'm done. We're done. Goodbye Brian." She turned and opened the door leaving it open. She heard him yell her name out the door "Wait! Aria come back!" but it was took late she was gone.

The next day Brian tried to call her but she ignored it even though she yearned to answer it. She even listened to his messages all the time wanting to call back, but she told him she was done with the relationship. The past few months have been nothing but little arguments and she didn't need that. She grabbed her backpack and headed off to class trying to not think of Brian or the band that was slowly falling apart. She was walking to class until she ran into someone which caused both of them to drop there books. "I'm so sorry" She quickly apologized bending down to help pick up books. "Oh don't worry about it." The man smiled helping pick up the books. They both stood up "My head is just not here today." She laughed a little and so did he. "I'm John." He introduced himself. "I'm Aria." she smiled at him. "So what class are you heading to?" He asked. "I'm heading to honors history. You?" He smiled "That's where I'm going too. What room?" I got kind of happy "I'm in 402." His face lit up "So am I." I smiled and so did he "Want to walk together?" She asked him. He nodded and walked with her.

As they turned to walk to class she felt someone was watching her and she was right. She didn't turn around but she felt Brian's eyes on her she wanted to cry. She turned around to look at him but she only saw his back as he walked away. She turned and looked at john "I'll meet you in class I will see you later." She said and rushed away towards Brian. "Brian! Please wait!" She called after him. He continued to walk fighting the urge to stop, but he kept walking "Brian!" She called almost catching him tears formed in her eyes. He finally stopped she caught up to him but he wouldn't look at her. "You weren't answering my calls. The silence was killing me." He said still looking down. She looked at him wanting him to look at her "I wanted to answer but I didn't know what to say." She told him tears forming in her eyes. He looked at her and she could tell he didn't sleep at all. "Aria I wanted to apologize for the way I acted last night. I wanted you to know that I never meant to act that way to you. I've just been stressed with school and the band. I was trying to see if you would be with me again." He pleaded to her.

She looked at him wondering what she should do her brain going a million miles an hour. "Brian I think we should just take a break then when summer comes in a few weeks see what happens." He looked down again and stayed silent for a moment. He soon nodded his head "Yea. I think that would be best. I'll call you as soon as summer starts." They smiled at each other. He hugged her setting his chin on the top of her head. "I love you Aria." He said as he held her. "I love you too Brian." They pulled away and he kissed her before walking away. She stood there sad but happy maybe this break will help their relationship. She couldn't help but think maybe it won't help.
