Society now days, amirite? What, with all the shooters, homophobic's, and perverts out there we can never tell what's going to happen next..
Every body has to be careful. 'Don't talk to strangers' the teachers say. 'Don't get in cars with people you don't know.' Officers say. WELL GUESS WHAT? Most of the times, the kidnappers are people you know and trust. Schools prepare us for the 1% of what could happen while excluding the other 99% of what could happen..
What COULD happen we aren't prepared for. Who knows, someone you know and trust could be a five time criminal with charges that should have them on death row, but since they are smart, they act as if they are the town sweet heart. And we'd never catch them..
It's more like the criminals try to prepare for us. Prepare of what we could do. Because by George if someone broke into my house when I was home alone, I would fight so hard they literally wouldn't know what hit them.

It was a foggy night in LA
I was walking down the streets lined with stores and shops galore. I would go in, but the muggy air is sticky and I just want to go home.
I watch where I walk to because this place has had a few kidnappers. I get to my car safely and drive home. As I pull into my house I can see my dog in the window wagging her tail in delight and barking to me. I walk into my house and Layla runs up to me rubbing up against my feet. "Today can be a lazy day" I told her "We don't have to do anything today." I sit down and turn on the T.V
"Now Janet, we see here that another kidnapping has happened?" The news man asked. "Yes. It's extremely dreadful. I'm afraid to say that this is our fifth recorded one in about two months." Janet replied.
'Oh my word!' I thought.. "I'd better be really careful." I told Layla and shut off the T.V
... ... ... ... ...

Now days I'd say that at least 1/8 of our society are weirdos who want to hurt or steal people. You can never really tell.
... ... ... ... ...

Layla walks to her doggy bed and sits down, knawing on a bone.
Dogs have almost no worries.. none! No school, work, bills, taxes, not to even mention they just get handed their food at dinner... for free. They don't do chores wash their bowls or anything. But then again, they don't get to go to the movies, or bowling alley. They don't get to get married or go to a wedding. They don't get to sky dive or deep sea dive or go on roller coasters or- I think you get it. So it evens out.
Oh where are my manners? I'm Jackie. I'm 19 years old and I work for NASA in Los Angeles. Yeah, it's pretty cool. I work in the rovers division where we make robots and pack them with a punch! That basically means they go into space and take pictures of things humans can't. Like unknown constellations or stars. I come home about 5:30 P.M every day and go to work at about 8:00 A.M so I think I have a good schedule! I also have an Alaskan Husky named Layla, and she's great! She loves when I come home.
