Chapter 7) To much sugar

I was out under the tree with my Gryffindor on a Sunday. Remus was reading and Peter was watching a soaking wet Sirius, and a soaking wet James chase me around. "I will not apologize!" I squealed running as fast as I could around my friends. Sirius finally caught me and he lifted me over his shoulders, by this point I was wriggling like mad to get out of his grip but I wasn't fast enough as I soon became submerged in the dark waters of the black lake.

"SIRIUS" I screamed, now I was chasing after him and James "OI, WHAT DID I DO" James yelled at me while being chased around. "DON'T PRETEND YOU DIDN'T CHASE ME FOR 10 MINUTES WITH SIRIUS" I shouted back. I caught up with both of them and tackled them to the ground. We all ended up on the floor laughing together. Remus said "Good job Peter" and I realised Peter had picked up my camera and videoed the whole thing.

We eventually got up of the floor and I mentioned going to get changed. When I got back, I brought my laptop with me and sat under the tree watching Dan and Phil under the shade of a tree.

"What ya doin" Sirius and James came and sat next to me. "Watching Dan and Phil" I replied. I had explained the whole concept of the internet and my laptop and obviously mentioned the wild world of youtube. They started watching with me and we had a good half an hour of watching their videos before deciding to do something else.

I played music out loud and we danced around looking stupid. After singing along to 'Ain't it fun' by Paramore, I layed down on the grass, completely exhausted. James and Sirius layed next to me and we watched the clouds together, occasionally pointing out clouds that looked like different things. "We should make a name for ourselves, you know?" James said. "The Marauders" I blurted out. Sirius cheered and James said, "The Marauders, I like it".

The day continued to be sunny. We made our way back up to the great hall for lunch but decided against it. Since it was such a nice day, I came up with the idea of a picnic. We walked all the way to the kitchens, me going into Hufflepuff common rooms, although I did wait till they were in the kitchen before doing the password because I didn't want them to know how to get in, that would be disastrous.

I managed to round up my friends and we made our way out of the common rooms and walked to the tree again to wait for the boys. They finally came out of the door, picnic basket in hand, and they placed it on the picnic blanket we set up. I put on my music which James and Sirius had become obsessed with in the past few days. "Tayla, why don't you sing something for us?" Anna asked and Sirius replied with "I didn't know you could sing Tayla, why don't you show us?" "No" was my immediate response. "But you sing so well" whined Anna. "Nope" "Bu..." "I am not singing, especially in front of so many people" "fine" Anna huffed and the subject was dropped.

"KEEP RUNNING SIRIUS" I yelled. Sirius was piggybacking (Is that a word?) me and we were running around the tree. We were running from the angry faces of James, Anna, Tyler and Finn. "CATCH THEM" Anna demanded at James, Finn and Tyler who were close to catching up. They were covered head to toe with the cake we had thrown at them. Sirius looked back for a second but tripped over a rock. We both went flying into the black lake for the second time that day.

Me and Sirius were drenched when we got out and I chased my friends, giving them big wet hugs. We laughed and Peter managed again to get a video of it all. We all went back to our common rooms for showers. After my shower, while waiting for Anna to be done, I was bored so I braided my hair into two side braids. I was hanging upside down on the end of my bed reading and listening to music when Anna finally decided to emerge from the bathroom.

Giving me a 'are you serious' look, she asked me "What the heck are you doing?"Giggling, I answered, "What does it look like, btw you take FOREVER in the showers, I had to keep myself occupied somehow!" She just rolled her eyes at me and sighed. "What are we going to do with you" she muttered with the shake of a head, a small smile making its way onto her face.

After thirty minutes, we were both hanging upside down and giggling. I took a selfie with her, smiling like crazy and we both kept laughing. I was in one of the weirdest moods and I think we both had to much sugar. We had gone to the kitchens just before and got lots of lollies that probably had to much sugar in them.

It was 4:00 PM when we decided to go see what the boys were doing. Jumping on my back Anna yelled "Onward". I almost fell over from the impact but Anna was very light and I managed to keep myself upright. We made our way down the halls, giggling to ourselves, and entered the great hall where we found Tyler and Finn.

"TY, FINNY" I screamed in their ears and they jumped from shock. Anna and I fell to the floor laughing like crazy while Tyler and Fin looked at us with amused faces. "I see you have had to much sugar" Finn mentioned. I was so glad the great hall was pretty much empty because I was sure if anyone saw us they would have thought we had gone mad. Its funny how much sugar can affect Anna and I.

We ran from the great hall and I could see Finn and Tyler chuckling at our childish behaviour. "I wanna see this" I heard Finn say and they followed us. We found ourselves in an empty corridor. This is where we ended up sliding on our backs across the floor to see who could get to the other end faster. I won and ran around screaming "I AM THE WINNER!!!!" This is where the other marauders found us. Lying on the floor and me screaming about being a winner.

"What happened here" Muttered Remus. "I RECORDED IT SO YOU CAN SEE" I yelled. "TOO MUCH SUGAR" Anna yelled and the hall was filled with our giggles. "Are you serious" muttered James, "NO, HE IS SIRIUS, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT, SILLY JAMSY" I yelled at him while pointing at Sirius and I collapsed into another fit of giggles. "Oh Merlin, we should not leave them alone with lollies" muttered Remus with a smile while Sirius came and joined us and the five of us had another race, me winning again, before deciding to go to dinner. That night I had crashed from the sugar and had the best sleep I had had in a while.

A/N

I apologize for not updating. I have been in Queensland for 2 weeks and had no wifi but I AM ON HOLIDAY!!!!!!!

I had a 14-15 hour drive home so I wrote more then. By the time I have posted this I will be home but I will hopefully have more chapters to upload over the holidays.

Also, MERRY (late) CHRISTMAS!! (Sorry for anyone not reading this near Christmas)
