Cinder woke up in the strangest room she had seen. It was a large and beautiful circular room, full of funny little noises. A number of curious silver instruments stood on spindle-legged tables, whirring and emitting little puffs of smoke. The walls were covered with portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses, all of whom were snoozing gently in their frames. There was also an enormous, claw-footed desk, and, sitting on a shelf behind it, a shabby, tainted wizard's hat — the Sorting Hat.

She sat up straight and realized that there was someone in the room. Professor Dumbledore was siting beside her reading the Daily Prophet. When he realized she was awake he put the newspaper down and smiled warmly.

"Good morning Cinder" said Dumbledore "hope you're feeling alright"

"I'm fine-" she started and then remembered what happened "-where's Harry? He had the Stone! Professor Quirrell got the Stone - "

"Clam yourself, my dear, " he said "Quirrell does not have the Stone"

"Then who does? And where's Harry -"

"Cinder, please relax. Harry's in Gryffindor's tower, and he is fine."

Cinder swallowed and looked around her. She was lying in a bed beside a desk which she guessed was Dumbledore's. On the desk was Bertie Bott's Every - Flavor Beans.

"This is a Token from me," Dumbledore smiled sadly. "What happen down in the dungeons between you, Harry, and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, so , naturally the whole school knows."

"How long have I been here?"

"Five days. Mr. Potter will be relieved you have come round, he have been extremely worried."

"How's Harry?"

"He is completely fine. He stayed at the hospital wing for about three days."

"And what happened to the Stone?"

"Destroyed"

After listening to Dumbledore's explanation, Cinder felt as though she could finally breath again.

"Cinder, there is something else you need to know," Dumbledore said. "I found out who your parents are"

"What-who-how -?" Cinder tried to form a correct sentence, but failed miserably.

"I'm sorry to say that they both died 10 years ago. . .but you do have a brother" he said brightly. "You are Harry Potter's long lost twin sister, and your real name is Hannah Potter. You see the reason you couldn't touch Quirrell was because your parents died to save you and Harry, it all makes perfect sense."

Cinder was speechless. She couldn't believe the words she just heard. She just stared at Professor Dumbledore and waited for him to continue his explanation.

Dumbledore took her silence as a nod and continued. "When Lily Potter was pregnant, she and James Potter were expecting a child. But when Lily gave birth she gave birth, she gave birth to twins! And only their closest friends knew about it," Dumbledore explained. "The night Voldemort murder the Potters he cursed Harry, now what I reckon is that both you and Harry were in the same cot when Voldemort came. When he cursed Harry, the curse transported to you. Then the curse fired back because James and Lily Potter both sacrificed their lives for you and Harry." Dumbledore paused. "When I sent Hagrid to get you, I was unaware that there were two of you, and when Hagrid arrived the house was falling apart, so he took one of you without realizing there was another. I think that some Muggle heard your cries and took you to the orphanage."

Cinder took a moment to process what just happened, then she took a shaky breath and said. "Do you think Voldemort knows about me?"

"Well that's what I came here to ask," Dumbledore said. "When you were down in the dungeons did he address you at all?"

Cinder thought for a moment trying to recall what happened at the dungeons, and she said. "He never really address me, he just kept on talking to Harry"
