Cover: 4/5
The cover is very unique in its own right. One minor suggestion I would have would to be adding a little more things relevant to the story line itself. The main character is Evangeline, a female, (I think, I only read the 2 chapters you requested. >^<) and I feel that it would be more appropriate to put a female on the cover. However, i do like you you put the character as wielding a weapon to symbolize the oncoming war and the background which kind of reminds me of a flag. This to me shows that the book would be about a person fighting for their country.
Plot: 8.5/10
The plot seems very interesting and I like how you put a large amount of detail into it. One main concern I have is that the first chapter is a bit too long. I understand it is crucial to introduce and explain the background of a character/event but some parts of your explanation seemed unnecessary. Also, the excessive background may cause confusion for some readers who are trying to make sense of what happened where. I do like the main character's personality though. This is one of the more correctly personified characters I've come upon. Lot's of characters are portrayed as flawless but Eva is shown as a flawed person already. She knows she has flaws and sometimes fall below nobility. I like the fact that you are putting this character and the others (etc. Bram) in a more modernized personality.
Spelling/Grammar: 9/10
Your grammar for the most part was correct. There are some mishaps in the story but nothing too major.
Overall story: 8.5/10
This is a very modernized story and I really enjoy the personalities of the individual characters. It's not often you find a story that portrays the modern world's people and personalities. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a mystery/action novel.
Final score: 30/40
Hope this review helps!
