Kiara just stood there, staring at where the man had just been standing. He had magic too? How'd he get it? Was he born with it? Her mind had a million questions. She needed to test if this was really happening. She touched her cheek again, just to make sure it was actually healed. The cut was completely gone.
Kiara's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when her nurse and Michael came running at her yelling,
"KIARA!!!!!"
Once they got to her, they immediately started checking her for injuries. After they had finally finished their search, they looked at her with a relieved expression.
"Kiara...how'd you do that?"
Dr. Michael asked.
"Oh never mind...you can't speak."
Kiara pointed to her necklace. Dr. Michael looked down at it.
"H-how did you even find that?"
Kiara acted out the whole event of finding the orb.
"Oh my...this is not a normal thing that happens everyday. Do you think you could show us some magic?"
Kiara nodded. Without hesitation, she grabbed her pendant with her right hand, and held up her left. Suddenly she started to glow. She closed her eyes. A glowing ball of blue light formed in her left hand. She started to hover above the ground. When she opened her eyes, they were pure white and glowing. She let go of her orb pendant, and turned back to normal.
Both the nurse and Dr. Michael were completely speechless. They stared at her in awe. The nurse, being the only one able to talk at the time, could only stammer out,
"H-h-h-HOW?"
The only thing Kiara could do was shrug. She didn't actually stop to think about how she did it. She just...did.
Kiara, the nurse, and Dr. Michael went inside the hospital after the little incident. They walked into the hallway leading to Kiara's room to find one of the hospital's patients, a five-year-old girl that Kiara barely knew, staring out the hallway window with wide eyes, and an open mouth. She turned her head to look at them with the same expression.
"How did you do that?!"
She exclaimed. Kiara stared at her awkwardly. The little girl had curly brown-red hair, that went to her shoulders. She had a salmon pink cardigan on with a collared dandelion yellow shirt with maroon strips on it underneath. She also had a magenta miniskirt and white tights on the lower part of her body. She had black Sunday shoes and yellow-brown eyes. She was an orphan who lost her hand when she was 2 due to rude teenagers. She had it replaced with a robotic hand.
Dr. Michael walked over to her and crouched down so he could meet her eyes.
"Now Sarah, I have a favor to ask of you."
He said with a very patient tone.
"What's the favor Dr.?"
She asked politely.
"Let's keep this our little secret, ok?"
