Twins. Scarlette is having twins. How is she going to raise twins?

One baby will be hard, how is she going to raise twins?! She will have to buy double diapers, onesies, bibs, binkies, cribs, rockers, shoes, bath soap, socks, hats-

But, just because she is having two, I know she won't love her babies any less? We have both barely known that our babies were alive and yet we love them more than anything else in the world, with a love like no other. A mother's love.

"I'm having twins." Scar whispers when we get in the truck, I look back at her with a slight grin on my face.

"I'm so happy for you, you're going to be such a good mommy, do you want to go home to tell mamaw?" she smiles back at me.

"No, I know you still want to start gathering up baby supplies. I think we really should. Especially now." I chuckle and we head to our work for the employee discount, gratefully we have that. We walk through the chilly spring air, today being April 10th and spring coming to a close we also have to get some summer clothes for us mommas soon.

"I'm going to get some long sleeve onesies because when the baby is born it'll be mid October and it'll be chilly, but just white ones because we don't know genders." I grab about six long sleeve onesies to start off, three of which are newborns and four short sleeve onesies, before heading to the bottles and binkies. I grab a two pack of the hospital brand binkis, having done some research in my spare time, and a four pack of collic preventing bottles, along with some of the bags that go inside of them and a few extra nipples. During all this Scar gets double of everything I do.

"I want to hand make their baby blankets," I blurt, having searched the idea a week prior and unable to get it out of my head since.

"That's a really good idea! How do you do it?" Scar grins at my idea.

"Well, first we need to find out the genders, but we take two different fabrics and cut the ends to tie them together. We can make them out of any fabric we wanted to." Jax rubs my back, smiling at me.

"Well, since your next appointment is at your 17 week mark, maybe we can find out." He kisses my head and we all leave to check out.

I settle everything in the chest/bench at the end of my bed before laying on my back on my bed with Scar, because Jax had to go home to watch his little sisters.

"Are you ready to tell mamaw?" She happily sighs at my question, before sitting up and kicking my shoes off.

"As ready as I'll ever be." We walk into the kitchen to find my grandma cooking dinner, consisting of burgers and fries. Yummy!! Just what I wanted!!!

"How do you feel about two babies?" I ask, grinning at her.

"If I wasn't okay with it I wouldn't have let Scarlette live with us, dear. So of course there's going to be two babies." she laughs at my innocent question.

"Okay, let me rephrase that, how do you feel about three babies?" she spins around with the spatula in her hand in fear.

"I love you and I love these babies but I can't handle more pregnant women in my house! Two moody teens is enough!" we all laugh at her, herself included.

"I'm talking about twins. Mamaw I'm having twins!" Scar says from next to me.

She goes wide eyed, "Twins? I'm gonna be a great grammy to twins?!" she grins at the news before taking the five of us into a hug, Scarlette and I along with our babies. "Well, twins and another baby. Everyone's healthy, right?" she wildly looks at the both of us as we nod back to her. "Thank goodness. Now, you two go get comfortable because we have a lot of planning to do with new sleeping arrangements." she kisses the both of us on our heads and shoved us towards the hallway leading to our bedrooms.
