What rumors? Okay now I am semi scared. I take my smoothie and walk back into the comic book shop, but didn't see the workers. "Edgar, Allen I need you!" They came rushing from the back and Edgar looked at me "What?" I swallowed and calmed myself "Why did all the kids on the flyers go missing?" Edgar looked at me "Kidnappers?" I sighed "Some guy with blonde hair told me they went missing because they didn't believe in the Santa Carla rumors. What rumors?" Edgar looked at me "You just need to watch yourself. We gotta get ready to close shop." I nodded "Will ya'll be here tomorrow?" Edgar nodded. I just sighed and walked out. I decided to take my mind off of all this mayhem and go see what kind of t-shirts they had. I was smiling looking at the shirts when the store bell rang indicating someone walked in. I found a cool Santa Carla crop top that was tie dyed. I turned seeing the four guys I had seen before. I rolled my eyes and paid for the crop top so I could leave. I busted out of the store and started speed walking towards the pier. I was squeezing through people and got to the pier and sat on a bench at the end. I took a cigarette from my pocket and lit it. I took a hit and blew it out looking at the waves crash against the rocks below. Why did those boys keep following me? Okay maybe it was a coincidence. I sighed and started walking towards the crowd of people still smoking. I stopped to throw my cigarette away when I saw the four boys standing in a group looking at me I turned the other way and started walking. I took a sharp turn I ran into a gentleman in front of a video store. "Oh my are you okay?!" The gentleman asked helping me up my mom was standing beside him. I nodded "There were four guys following me." I pointed in the direction, but nobody was there anymore. My mom looked "Honey there's nothing there, but a pole." I sighed "They were following me I swear." My mom looked at me "Honey this Max my new boss. He owns the video store." I smiled " Hi Max I'm Lex." Max shook my hand lightly "Nice to meet you." I smiled and nodded. My mom looked at her watch "It's getting late we need to get home. I have work." Max looked at my mom "Very well good night Tammy and good night Lex. Don't be a stranger now." I nodded and started to walk away with my mom "Do you believe me about them following me?" My mom sighed "Honey it was probably a coincidence that they were going to the same location as you."

I rolled my eyes "Mom you aren't listening to me!" She stopped dead in her tracks and looked at me "I don't wanna hear it. Nobody was following you around! You were probably paranoid because the damn rumors that this place is nothing, but a slaughter house." I rolled my eyes taking the lead towards home "Whatever don't believe me then!"
