Depression is like a porch light, Darkness surrounds the light and eventually the light loses it's energy, Just like the girl with the smile that used to light up the room.
The light slowly loses it's enery, Flickering on and off and until finally, it shuts off permanently.
Permanently shutting her happiness and her light off.
It's gone, Shattered. But the owner who replaced that light? That's the good part.
Someone will come along and help her be well, help her learn to be happy again and in some time.
That smile is back, Brighter than the sun.
Thank you, For saving her.
The darkness is gone.
