from the day he was born, there was something different about tyler.
things seemed much more difficult for him, especially when it came to school, the mnemonic devices they tried to use never working for him.
he found out, a year in, that he had tritanopia.
a deformation in his eyes meant that he had his own limited colour spectrum.
the stories of great adventures were dull to his sad eyes, with each colour described impossible for him to imagine.
for the boy,
the colour he saw the most was a deep blushed pink,
the colour he had always imagined was meant just for roses.
