...in which I talk about my amazing, slightly weird relationship with my bestfriend. I'm pre-warning you, I have no idea where this is gonna go. We're both weird as it is but get us together and it's an experience. Fun experience but people think we are mental or dating.
My bestfriend and I have known each other since I was 2 and he was four. His family had moved to America when he was 3 from Manchester. Then when he turned 10 he went back home, I was devastated and never really talked about him. Then on my 15th birthday I went down to eat my annual birthday breakfast and there he was. A gorgeous angel sitting at my kitchen island. I cried, he cried. It was great. We've been inseparable ever since.
Oh I forgot, his name is Jameson. Yes, like the Irish whisky, his dad was both Irish and in love with whisky.
Jameson is tall, very tall. His hair is a dark brown but in some light it almost looks black. It's kind of curly but he keep the sides short and it all flops on top. His eyes are this emerald green with hints of grown and somehow he has perfect eyebrows for a guy, he doesn't even do anything to them they just look that way. Not fair at all.
He has great lips like they puff out but not like trouty mouth from Glee. Of course his jaw line could cut paper and he has great skin and his body looks like young Mark Walberg in the Calvin Kline ads. Really he's just this perfectly perfect person who seems fake but trust me, he's real.
Fortunately he's not a dick. He really is a good guy, treats girls the right way and loves animals. His musical ability is amazing. All the girls love him but he really never dates anyone, he had this one girl but she cheated on him and he hasn't dated since. She was a bitch anyway, how could anyone hurt Jameson? He is the sweetest thing ever. He is pretty crazy though. Very good party person.
His sense of humor has the biggest range. He could tell you the most sexual joke and then five seconds later be laughing at something from fuckin PBS. He really knows how to make people laugh, when I'm sad he could just look at me and I feel better. His energy has magic powers I swear. When he walks in the whole mood changes, people just know things are gonna get more fun now that he's there. It's probably his parents that made him like that.
I'd say on the best parents list his mom and dad come right after mine. They are so amazing. His mom, Julie is so sweet and would take care of anyone if they needed her. She was born in a really nasty part of London and was raised by two alcoholics, she was a street girl but when she met Jameson's dad she changed into the perfect women she is now. Ed or Edward is the ideal picture of a dad. He's crafty and loves football and cars but is in love with nature. He's wicked smart too. He actually is a collage professor for English and a few Physics classes. Julie also works at the collage, she teaches art classes. They both treat me like I'm part of the family, always have.
Basically Jameson and his family are this cute, idealistic family that everyone wants. Don't get me wrong, they fight and have normal family problems but all around they are happy people. Julie and Ed are a little more strict though, they didn't want him to get into drugs or drinking so they sheltered him as much as possible till he turned 18.
It was sad when he graduated I definitely cried. Who in the hell was supposed to keep me from losing my shit everyday at school. He graduated a year early so he's been out of school for a year. He would come have lunch with me and usually meet me at my house. We do every thing together. My other friends get mad because if they ask me to hang out they know we are a package deal and he's most likely going be there too. Its kind of like we are dating now that I think about it.
He's cute as hell and I love him with all my heart but I guess I just never thought someone like Jameson would ever like me like that. I also think I would be scared to date him. If Jay is any example of what ex's are like after a breakup then I definitely don't wanna date Jameson. I don't think I could handle losing him. He's my person now. He knows everything about me. Every shit thing that's happened, every depressing night he's been there.
