The Promise

Ace's POV

I entered the Fang & Fur and waited for the rest of the alphas to get here both vampire and wolves. We're be meeting the next generation of alpha wolves this time. I took a sit at the open bar that is for tonight only. I looked around to see some of the wolves filing thought the door, that is until one of the pups caught my eye. The pup had white hair and two different which look so exited to be here. He has one light blue eye the same colour as the sky on a cloudless day, the other was a light brown that reminds me of a puddle of mud after a heavy rain storm. (I know that's weird to say but it's the first thing that I thought of. )

I'm guessing he's one of the next generation alphas that are coming to this meeting but he look's rather young to be here. I said he's no older then ten years old. His father look's around, he's probably looking to see what alphas are here vampire and werewolves a like. I hear the voice in the back of head saying "That pup is are's. He's are mate and no one else can have him". I was shocked that I at my own thoughts. But the more I looked at the pup the more in love I feel. I should go talk to him maybe he might want to be my mate now, but I doubt he even known's what a mate is at his age.

I got out of my chair without even realizing it and was half way over to where the pup stood looking around in awe at all the wolves and vampires a like. " Are you lose my little wolf?" I ask looking at him. "No, I'm waiting for my dad to sign the treaty" he said looking me straight in the eyes without even missing a beat. "oh, and who's you're dad?" I asked with interest. All he did was point out the man that was looking around earlier. "oh, he look's like he's not happy being here" I said without looking over at him. " He doesn't like vampires" he said. "Do you like vampires?" I ask while looking around to see if anyone can over hear us. "No" he said frowning. "oh, I'm a vampire, so do you want me to leave?" I ask frowning a little. "No, I like you" he said giving me a small smile. "why do you like me? I'm a vampire i thought you didn't like vampires" I said looking a little confused at him. " I don't know why" he said looking at me. "Maybe it's because I'm you're mate" I say with confidence. " I wouldn't know that" he said looking a little sad. " why wouldn't you not know I'm you're mate" I said looking in to those eyes with interest. "Because we don't get are wolf until we're 17 years old, they are the ones that pick are mates" he said in a matter a fact tone.

Just as I was about to replay i see his dad walking over towards us. "My little wolf I'm going to have to make this quick, but do you think you can make me a promise?" I said in a rush. "Yes" he said quietly as he look around seeing his dad with an angry look on his face. " Promise me that you will be mine and mine alone my little wolf, and in return I will me yours and only yours ok?" I said with a smile. "I well try but I'm only seven so I can't a 100% agree with that promise" he said softly. "Ok I'll take that" I said looking him straight in the eyes. I got up an kissed his forehead, just as his father got to us. "You" his father yelled in out rage. He took a swing at me, but missed when i side step him. "how dare you try and corrupt my son" he yelled as he try once again to take a swing at me. " Corrupt your son ever his mine mate I would never do anything that would hurt what's mine" I growled at my mates father. "Please stop dad, he didn't do anything to me" my mate said as he tried to grab is father's arm. "Grayson let go he was trying to corrupt you the filthy winged beast" his father yelled this time loud enough that the whole building heard him. All heads turn to us and all eyes where on us." Grayson this bat will do nothing but corrupt your soul" his father splat had him. "It's to late Grayson already make me a promise" I said as i give Grayson a wink. " That's right dad i promise him that i would try and be only his and in return he will only be mine" Grayson said in a confident tone to his father. "how could you make a deal with one of them?" his father splat as he rise his hand about to hit Grayson. Fortunately another alpha wolf stepped in and garb his arm and said "you have no right to hit your pup joe doe and I'm not having it in here at the signing, and on top of that you know the moon goddess put's us with are mates for a reason". Everyone looked shocked at this alpha's words. I looked over at my mate Grayson to see him looking at the other alpha in awe.
