The Practice

"Okay let's start again 1..2..3" its feels like forever to done practicing this song. It's not like we never done this song before the only problem is Matt.

Why did I said Matt? There's too much reason why I said his name instead of others. Yes Matt Kean our one and only bassist in this group. If I can ask other members to play the bass sure as hell I will ask them immediately but I can't. Kean is the only one who know how to play bass right.

The only problem is he didn't play it right this time. Its start with last night he play it like a silly person, he play it like he never touch that bass before. What is wrong with him? Nobody know he don't talk or even speak to us! He never been like this before. When I said never I meant it! He is good normally, never did any trouble and never give an excuse when he did something and that thing is wrong. He will admitted it immediately and feel guilty about it the whole day. Basically he is a good person and everyone know that.

"No its still didn't sounds like it suppose to be" Lee shouting to make us stop. Well Lee never shout before, I'm pretty sure he is piss off right now.

"Okay let's take a break" I say to make everyone calm down.

"A break? How can we take a break? We didn't even play this right and we only get 1 weeks more before the concert." Lee say harsh to me but I know he didn't mean it, I'm sure he just stress out.

"Vegan are you sure you play it right?" Matt Nicholls our drummer asking Kean in his nicest voice.

"I don't emm know I gu...guess" Matt Kean reply with his shaking voice.

Yes there you go the old Vegan. Always freak out without a reason, scare with everything and have a heart like a tissue. That is why everyone in this band don't have a guts to mad at him. He is just to apologetic and easily make us feel bad when we mad at him. How can you mad at those innocent face? No one can not even me not even Lee.

He always with his sad eyes and his sweet holy smile. When it combined together then born Matt innocent Kean. We always think that he got something that he hide from us but he is too mystery and shy. Even though we already been together for almost 10 years no one knows who is the real Matt. Basically he just be a shadow to us sitting at the back and do his own stuff alone. I said it again ALONE.

He is such a loner and more to losers. Me and other band members always make a joke about him and his fantasy world that we don't know about, but he? He just reply to all those joke with his smile. Sometimes we do feel guilty about it and sometimes we do feel sorry for him. I don't even know if he is a human, he seems like he doesn't even have a real human feelings.

Don't talk, he only eat vegetables, laugh silently at our joke, what are you Matt? An alien? Damn he is mystery but as long as he is alive and smiling to us ever morning then it is already good  enough at least we know that he is not dead yet.

"I'm sorry" two words coming out from Matt Kean mouth leaving us in a deep silent in this old garage.

"Its okay let's try again" Jordan Fish our not so new members break the silent.

I see Lee smiling a little and that make me relief at least I know Lee is not heat up anymore. Matt Nic is also smiling, well I guess he is smiling in almost every situation, yeah that is our another Matt silly and always be happy really different with another Matt aka Vegan.

"Damn we fucked up again" Matt Nic says with a smile. See I told you he smile in almost every damn situation, I guess he still can smiling when he walk through hell one day.

"Vegan you sure you're fine?" Lee asking now with a worry face instead of the mad one.

"I think it is only you who didn't play it right this time" Jordan added.

"You guys don't blame him please. We all make mistakes sometimes" that is all I can say to defend Matt K as I see he look so scared. He just staring at his own feet the whole time when the other band members trashing him up.

"Sometimes? It almost every time" Jordan say just to make thing more heat up.

"Oh shut up Jordie it is not like you never done mistakes when playing keyboard" I say more but sure this is the last one. One more words I think Matt K is going to be so dead.

"Oh really? We already play this song for almost three hours and we already repeat the same line for about 48 times and we still not at the middle of the song yet!" Lee said harsh.

Ouch pretty sure its stab like a knife on Matt K ears. Never seen my band mates this mad before at him. Normally we don't fight over shitty stuff like this. Maybe because today is hotter then other normal day and there's no Ice cream truck pass by and maybe because they already get tired of Matt K. Sure the last one is not right, right?

"Chill out guys it just a practice..." before I can finish my words I hear something drop and I see Matt Kean running out of the garage leaving his bass on the floor.

"Now he want to make a drama" Lee say rolling his eyes.

"Don't he know how much the bass cost?" Matt Nic try to make joke there and no one laugh except for Jordan of course. He laugh at every Matt Nic jokes even though it is not funny at all.

"Oh come on Vegan!" I whisper to myself as I sit on the ground, don't feel like I want to catch him over.

He never been like this before, not even once. This is the first time and we still don't know why. What is wrong with that kid? Sure as hell he already lose his mind. No one knows what is going on in those weirdo mind he got. Ceh I don't feel like I wanted to know.

"He just rushing to go to toilet" Matt Nic try to make situations seems fine but he just make it worst.

"Or he just feeling like he want to go and never came back again" there you go Matt Nic stupid Joking partner Jordan. When this both talk everything sounds completely stupid. They can't even stop laughing at their own joke which I don't think funny. They think they're joker when they are not! Well what can I do I stuck with them and I just have to accept it tho.

"He will come back in sec believe me" Lee saying with a cute smile. Here's the other problem I don't even know when Lee is being serious or when he just joking around. I thought he is mad at Matt K well I bet he don't.

"Just want to teasing him around ha?" I ask Lee

"Hell no, just wanted to know what is going on with that kid" Lee reply without even feel guilty.

"Don't do that man, he is a tissue you know that" I say try to relaxing my own self.

"Don't worry he is fine, he will come back, he doesn't even have a place to go. We're his home remember?" Lee give me that smirk face.

"I hate you, you know but you're right. But seriously don't do that anymore man you almost break my heart too" I reply to his smirky face.

"Okay my bad, I will talk to him later you guys too" Lee pointing his finger toward Jordan and Matt Nic.

"Why me? I didn't do anything" Matt Nic says.

"Shut up just do it, Don't you feel bad for blaming him, don't you have a heart?" Jordan add.

"Okey Jordie, okey Lee" Matt Nic says and pointing a good sign with his thumb.
