Jays house was big. And when I say big, I don't mean big. I mean ginormous, gigantic. Almost bigger than Jay's ego.
The perfectly structured millionaire mansion lay down neatly on the grass, luscious green hills folded down and clumps of sculpted bushes peppered with ripe red flower buds curled up to the clear sky. It was a creamy white with arches and fences and a maze of different exotic plants and sculpted tree's and bushes. Behind the scatter of perfectly trimmed plants, there lay a glistening blue swimming pool with expensive sunbeds circled around the edge of the delicately slated pool-side.
"Like what you see, sugar?"A familiarly cocky voice chimed from somewhere behind the plant. The plant that I was gazing at.
"Ugh what the-"
"Don't bother denying it babe."
"I was not staring at you, bigheaded jerk!" I spat.
"Calm your cubes honey, everyone does it." He grinned. I snorted and raised a hand.
"I'm here for the maths, not your One pack." I hissed.
"You're obviously not great at maths then if you can't tell how many beautiful bars I have." He laughed. "3+3= 6 pack chupa chup, now follow me."
I rolled my eyes and followed him through the maze of plants and gazebo's until finally we reached the house.
"Oooookayy you're rich!" I whistled, admiring the beautiful structure of the ancient yet modern mansion. Jay shrugged and started walking up the marble stairwell.
"Yeah well just wait until you see my bedroom!" Jay grinned proudly, his eyes sparkling like a 5 year old boy who's just been told he can have the last cookie.
After what seemed like forever, we reached the top of the 5 stories of stairs and collapsed at the top in a heap of sweat and aching muscles. Jay laughed and patted my now-swollen and sore back.
"I can tell you don't excercise much." He smirked, walking towards a white bone-washed door with a bold sign that said
'JAYS ROOM. KEEP OUT OR I'LL CUT YOUR DICK/BOOBS OFF.'
I immediately took a step back.
"I kind of want to advoid a trip to the hospital again any time soon." I moaned, having flashbacks to the skateboard 'incident' last year as I stroked my poor hand scars.
"Why would I cut your boobs off, i'd have nothing to stare at then." He smirked, pushing the door open. I made a disgusted face at his rude comment and glanced at his room. What I saw inside amazed me.
Heaps of dirty washing were spread out across the room, acting as a coating to the floor which was also covered in a thick carpet of dust. Old pizza boxes with extra rotting slices lay stranded and pushed into corners of the dirty room. The rest of the house was perfect and beautifully looked after and cleaned. Why did Jay's room look like a, excuse my French, absolute shit hole.
"Ew." I frowned. Jay laughed, pulling his slcik hair back from his face.
"Well, it's not paradise, but it's something." He shrugged, picking a few books up and gesturing towards the door. Thank Gosh we didn't have to revise in there.
"So." He said as we treked down the stairs again. "Tell me a lil' about yourself." I shrugged carelessly.
"What is there to say?"
"What's your favourite colour?" He asked cooly as we reached the third flight of stairs.
"Red. Dark Red." I replied. Marron red has always been my favourite colour. I just love it.
"Mines blue." He grinned, staring his deep brown orbs into mine. I smiled half-heartedly.
"Question Two," he started. "Why do you never fight back with Stacey BoyRider?" He smirked.
"Nice nickname, it suits. But there's no point, it would just make things worse.." I sigh, looking down at my scuffed vans. "It's been going on for a while, it's not like it's gonna' change anytime soon."
A flash of hurt skimmed Jay's eyes for a brief second before he shook it off. "OK."
"Now, how many boys have you slept with?" He teased. I almost spat out my gum on his perfect cream carpet.
"Not gonna answer that." I hissed. He rolled his eyes.
"I thought you were good at maths! C'mon." He laughed, punching my arm. I yelped in pain and thinned my eyes at him.
"None, okay? Now just leave it." I muttered.
"Funny joke. I don't believe you."
"Well you should, because i'm telling the fucking truth, okay? Boys are dicks and I have zero intentions on going near them." I snapped.
"Hmm, you're near me now, But not as near as i'd like us to be, Everest Jones." He winked as he started to run down the stairs.
"RACE YOU TO THE BOTTOM!" He shouted, laughing.
"It's on, motherfucker." I grinned, thinning my eyes.
