Chapter 9: Escape Attempt

Jessica's POV

For the past 3 days, it's been a living hell for me! Every night, he comes and feeds on me and it's been super rough. I think I now sleep during the day time and I'm awake in the night time. I can't believe I'm stuck with Adrien who is a Vampire! Here I was thinking that Vampires aren't real when I now encounter one and I'm his pet! I'm not a toy to be played with, but to him I am and it gives me chills. As I was thinking about all these things Jordan popped into my head. I wonder how he's doing, is he with that drunk chick? I doubt it. I love and miss him so much! What about Kate? What about my family? Are they safe? I wonder if they miss me because I miss them so much. I know it's only been 3 days, but I get homesick very easily. I have to find a way out of here. I remember I still have bobby pins in my hair. I grabbed 3 and played with the lock. It took a couple tries until I finally unlocked my chains. I was able to unlock my anklets and my leash and collar. I took off my gag and went to the cage to unlock it. When I unlocked the cage door I went out to find an exit. There were 3 doors, but one of them is the bathroom so basically I have 2 doors to choose from. I went to the one by the bathroom and as soon a I opened it, my stomach turned and I was about to puke. What I saw was unimaginable and disgusting! I saw 4 bodies a little bloody and smelly. They looked drained out and the body parts were all chopped up and shredded. It smelled horrible and once I closed the door, I heard footsteps coming towards the other door. I looked around to find a place to hide. I ran towards a thick pole and hid behind it. I then heard the door open and footsteps coming in. I covered my mouth with my hand to keep me from breathing heavily and making any noises.
*sniff *sniff "hm, now where did my little pesky human go?" He asked. My heart was beating quite fast. I heard him sniff some more. "Clever... you tried to mask your scent.." He's been following where I went but lost it when I opened the door to see the bodies. There's some hope that he won't find me.
"Oh where oh where has my little pet gone, oh where or where can she be... with a pretty face and her tasty warm blood... oh where oh where can she be..." he sung. The last sentence was a little bit chilling. I got goosebumps.
"Ugh! I'm starting to be pissed! So unless you want to anger your master, you will come out at once. Or, I could just..." I felt air coming right behind me and being shoved onto the ground. "Got'cha!" He Yelled. I was about to get up until he told me stay on my knees. I just stayed on my knees and just glared at him. "I want you to get used to be in that position." He chuckled.
"I just have one question, how did you manage to escape? Wait. Don't tell me, I actually was going to untie you anyways... for some fun we're going to to be having. Then again, you do need to be punished. Pets aren't supposed to do anything they aren't told to do. So tell me, how did you manage to get out of your chains? Don't you know what I'm capable of? I mean, look who I'm talking to. You used to spend time at the library studying about creatures like me, but then again you didn't believe in me or my kind. Tell me, what made you make such an idiotic decision to get out of those chains?"
"I-I just w-want to see m-my family again." I whimpered. He chuckled evilly. "Oh my sweet little pet, I'm your family now. I'm the only family you'll ever need. Even if you went back, do you really think they're going to want you back looking pale and smelling like dead animal? They'll just think you spent the last 3 days getting wasted and kick you out again. And I'll just end up scooping you up again."
I doubt my family would think that. They're probably worried and looking for me. "They're probably looking for me. My boyfriend Jordan will come looking for me too!" I Exclaimed.
He looks at me with a grin on his face. "Hehe about Jordan, he has forgotten all about you."
I didn't buy it. "No he hasn't.." I said.
"Yes he has. I checked your messages and he wants nothing to do with you!" Crap! I forgot about my phone! How did he get my password? He texted Jordan? How did he get my phone?What the hell!! "But then again, you did tell him that you are having an affair and you moved far away." He continued. He laughed so hard that I started to realize that he's been texting Jordan about that stuff. I started to get angry. "That's right. That was me. Hehehe, about your college and work, they think you moved and quit. I mean you did write them a heated letter that made them think you didn't like being there." I've had it! I'm starting to lose my temper. "Yes, I wrote the letters too and nobody wants anything to do with you!" He laughed. As I was about to get up he kicked me in the stomach and I fell on my knees. "You stay on your knees pet! You hear me? You kneel before your master." He said with his now angry tone. "Is that understood pet?" He asked. I looked around and saw that wooden stake he broke right by me, I grabbed it and put it behind me. "Yes master." I responded. "Good girl." He said.
"Master, I have something for you..." I said slyly. He looked at me with confusion and realized what I was about to do. I tried to stake him but he caught me and grabbed the stake. "Did you just try to stake your master?" I sighed in defeat. I should've waited. "Tch tch tch, nice try pet!!" He Yelled as he broke my right arm while I was screaming in pain. "That's right, scream all you want. Your punishment isn't even close to being over." He chuckles. He then pinned me to the floor and sunk his fangs into my neck and fed on me. It hurts like hell and the way he sucks my blood feels like a vacuum is sucking everything out of my body. He's so rough and I'm not sure how I'm going to get used to this routine. I might as well die, he texted Jordan and wrote letters to my boss and college saying I moved... I might as well not live. "P-please master! S-st-stop." I said. But he still kept going. I kept on screaming and begging for mercy but he still wouldn't stop. It went on forever until he finally stopped. I felt weak again and I could barely move. "Hehe, maybe you'll think twice before you try to do stupid stuff like that. Remember this, you're my pet and I'm your master." He laughs. He dragged me to my cage, chained me up, gagged me and blindfolded me. "When you wake up I have a task for you to do, and I think you and I both know that you and I are going to have a bloody good time! Sweet dreams.... and maybe next time you'll be a little more obedient. Good night my pet!" I hear him walk upstairs and closed the door and before I knew it, I blacked out.
