Believe In

(A/N: This is Waverly's suit, it's supposed to be blue but, reasons 😊"

Magic, the supernatural, powers. Often associated with fiction, fable, impossible. Well before you read this story I need you to believe in the impossible, the unexplained. I need you to believe... In me.

"Waverly! I'm headed to work, if you want a ride to school you need to move it" Cisco alerts me. "Coming!" I run to the door. "Did you eat?" He asked. "I was hoping we could pick something up on the way" I smiled. "Okay but when you start breaking out don't come crying to me" "Fine!" I groaned in defeat. I grabbed a banana from the counter.

"Let's go" We get in the car. "The Particle Accelerator is turning on today right?" "Yeah, your big brother is gonna make history" "And I'm gonna be right there for the whole thing" Cisco works at S.T.A.R labs. He got me clearance to be in the lab while they turn the Accelerator on. I think this stuff is amazing. Well that's what I thought until the accident.

This story starts like any regular day. A girl going to school to hang out with her friends. I'm a normal person like you, but with a little help from science.

I open my locker and get my books. "Waverly" Vanna hugged me. "Hey, did you hear Radio Rebel last night? Amazing right she really speaks to me like I know her. She's an inspiration to everyone" She kinda does. "Yeah I totally get it, hey I gotta go see you at lunch" I ran to class.

I'm an inspiration, me. I feel great. I can take on anything today. I jump into someone. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry Jason, I didn't see you" "It's fine Wave, you didn't mean to. How have you been I haven't seen you since I left for Texas"

"No way I could beat you easily" I giggled. "Well I guess we'll just have to find out, a race after school" "I can't I'm going to the S.T.A.R labs Expo" I sighed. "Tomorrow then" He grinned. "Tomorrow" I promised. "See you later Wave"

I got in the car. "Ready for ground breaking discoveries" "Let's do it" I smiled.

I stand in the cortex. "Okay people we go in 5, 4, 3, 2" Harrison presses the button. "That's it, I thought there would be some big bang" "If there was a bang that would be bad" "Take it from the man that helped build it." I hear something. "Was that?" I ask. "A big bang"

I see people rushing around with breathing masks. A wave of energy pushes me down. Suddenly it gets harder to breathe and I'm taken over with dizziness. "Waverly, Waverly listen to me. Waverly!" Cisco calls out to me but I'm already too far gone. My vision then blurs and I'm enveloped in darkness.

11 Months Later

"What are you doing?" "She likes this song, she can hear right" Cisco. "And what about Jason he has feelings too" "I can only play one song" I have to wake up I have to. I shot up out of bed. "Waverly!" Cisco crushes me in a hug. "I kinda need to breathe" I choked out. "Sorry, but you're awake and talking" "Oh that's what's going on here, I thought I was just staring at people and moving my mouth like an idiot" I sassed. "And she's back." I stood up. Jason. Please be okay.

"What happened to me?" "You were hit by the dark matter hard when the Particle Accelerator exploded. There were a lot of theoretical particles released creating something new in the genes of many people. We call them Metahumans. They have powers different all of them but all started in the same place" He explained.

"But what happened to me? What happened to Jason?" I asked. You're explaining this stuff like I can piece it together but I can't. I'm not that smart." I put my glasses on. "We don't know" That's it. "Well I need to see what school work I missed, call me as soon as Jason wakes up. I'll come back if something happens" I waved. "Waverly" I glare. "Yep bye, see you later"
