"This was a bad idea."

Sungwoon looked around as he felt goosebumps climbed up on his skin. He doesn't even remember how Jaehwan dragged him in here. All he remember was going to the mall to shop and that's it.

"No it isn't. Now don't be a bitch and get your future told."

His bestfriend, Jaehwan nudged him to continue walking as he abruptly stopped because of some weird cat statue. Still feeling nervous about the strange antiques, he proceeds to a small tent that is lit up inside.

"I swear Jaehwan if this is some fake business..."

Sungwoon was cut off by his own surprise gasp. Beside him, Jaehwan let out a squeal as they were met by a young man in his early-20s sitting comfortably on the floor full of cushions. Not only the man was astonishingly handsome but the tent was lit up by fairy lights and candles. Around the man was some old books, probably about magic and stuff, more cat statues and scrolls.

The handsome man look up as he welcome his costumers with a smile. "Welcome! I guess you guys are here to know about your fortune?"

Jaehwan being his usual giddy self, immedietely bowed and nodded. "My friend right here is eager to know!"

"I am not!" Sungwoon protested. But deep inside, he is curious.

"Hmm. Well take a seat as we will start."

Jaehwan sat first as Sungwoon hesitantly follows.

"I'm Kenta. My mom owns this place but temporarily, due to some schedules, I'll be working here for a while," Kenta introduces himself and didn't missed the panic look Sungwoon gave to his friend.

"Don't worry, I'm trained to do this." Kenta winked as Sungwoon immedietely flushed red due to embarrassment.

"I'm Jaehwan and this is my friend, Sungwoon." Jaehwan started. Sensing the awkward atmosphere, Kenta clasped his hands together and widely smiled.

"Okay! We'll begin!"

The two friends nodded as they watched Kenta pick up the deck of cards beside him and began to shuffle. Sungwoon's stomach churned. He feels scared and something deep inside of says that he should not continue this and just be contented and wait patiently by what fate has brought to him. But there's also a part of him that says he should know what the cards have to tell. He should know if there's really a possibility in the future if Kang Daniel and him would be together.

Kang Daniel was handsome. Almost all of the students where they are studying looks up to him. It's either for his looks or for his talent in dancing. Maybe both. But Sungwoon saw it all before Kang Daniel was even famous. Before, he was just a chubby boy with bunny teeth that's always been in the sidelines. Sungwoon would often catch him dancing alone in their school's studio. Kang Daniel was clueless that someone was even watching him. That shows how his passion of dancing is very admirable.

It was the start of their Junior year when Kang Daniel, almost unrecognizable, returned with a very dramatic entrance. He was now built and his hair color was no longer black but a soft pink. The chubby cheeks decreased and replaced by a very sharp jawline. The boy who was before called a pig was now known for his cat-like features. Sungwoon couldn't believe it. He realized Kang Daniel will never notice him now that he was the most popular kid and Sungwoon was just an ordinary student who is in the sidelines. Just like Kang Daniel was before.
