Chapter 4

Ever had the wish that you had some secret ninja skills?

That you could shoot shurikens and spikes without anyone noticing?

Like you could just use jutsus to blow away your enemies?

Well, Laksh really wished he had some sort of powers like that right now.

He could really use some on the person in the driver's seat in front of him.

On the one named Nikhil.

'Nikhil? More like Need-to-kill!' Laksh grit his teeth in rage.

He sat in the back seat with Mishka and Kaira, while Nikhil drove with Ragini sitting beside him on the front seat

He sat in the back seat with Mishka and Kaira, while Nikhil drove with Ragini sitting beside him on the front seat. Mishka slept leaning on Laksh's shoulder peacefully, while Kaira kept sneaking glances every now and then at Nikhil.

In the front mirror, Ragini noticed Laksh giving Nikhil the ultimate glare of death. She bit her lip to keep herself from smiling. 'Oh Laksh! You always were an open book, weren't you?' she shook her head and looked out of the window with a smile.

Unfortunately, Laksh coincidentally choose the exact moment to look at her. His glare softened on seeing her smiling face. His heart fluttered, as well as ached as he kept looking at her smile.

His Ragini always looked beautiful when she smiled. Her smile was like the drop of magic that could lift him even from the darkest of moments. He was getting to see it after so long that his heart couldn't help but blush and giggle like a teenager in love.

However, at the same time, it ached.

It ached from the thought of that smile appearing because of Nikhil.

'I thought she loved me! Why is falling for Nikhil now!?' Laksh thought in anger. However, he knew he was the one guilty of everything.

Laksh swallowed the lump in his throat and looked down. 'I dug my own grave by agreeing to Mansi's plan. What do I have to accuse Ragini of? It's good she's trying to move on. Why should I expect Ragini to wait for me? Should she grow old crying over her unrequited love for me, who deosn't even deserve her passionate love!?'
