Hyungwon woke up long after the sun had risen, the sweet remembrance on his lips from the previous night.

He rolled over, fully expecting to see Hoseok, but was met with an empty mattress. Hoseok wasn't there.

Hyungwon reached and felt the bedside, but it was cold. He must have been gone for awhile, it seemed. There was no one to hide his disappointment from, and his expression fell. He sort of expected Hoseok to be there. He wanted to talk, clear up and confirm what happened. Ensure it wasn't just tiredness getting the better of him- that it was what Hyungwon had been hoping it was.

That it was real.

But waking to an empty bed didn't settle well. It was an accident, wasn't it?

Hyungwon dragged himself upright, running a hand through his hair and slouching forwards. He could remember in perfect detail Hoseoks finger lightly tracing his lower lip, slowly mapping out the shape. Subconsciously he touched his lips, sighing through his nose and closing his eyes.

He wasn't sure which thought hurt less. That the kisses last night meant nothing, or that it did mean something, but Hoseok left him because he realized Hyungwon wasn't good enough. Hyungwon wouldn't blame him for that, he was nowhere near as in shape as Hoseok.

He was tall and thin. Too thin to be healthy, probably.

Ignoring his thoughts, Hyungwon slipped off the floor mattress.

He didn't even notice the folded piece of paper sitting by the bed that was addressed to him.
