[Name]'s POV

"All right, up here. This way," Elena says, and we go to follow her and Sully up a staircase when a dart hits the back of my neck.

"What the..." I trail off, looking over to see Nate and Harry also got shot with darts.

"No..." we whisper, and Sully and Elena turn around to see what happened.

"Run," I whisper, and their eyes widen when they see the dart.

"Oh no..." Sully runs down the stairs and goes to help us.

"Stay away," Nate warns him.

"What's going on?" Elena asks Sully.

"They drugged them," he tells her while showing her the dart.

"Come on. We got to get them out of here," Sully says, and him and Elena start to walk towards us.

"Don't touch me!" Harry, Nate, and I growl, before turning and stumbling off through a gate.

Everything seems to become distorted and foggy, and I push past some people who are buying things from market stalls. "Stay calm," I hear Talbot's voice in my head, "Come with me." I continue to stumble through the streets when I hear Talbot's voice again, "[L/Name]. Marlowe's waiting for you. It will all be over soon."

I feel like I'm doing circle and I stop walking to look around, "Nate... Harry..."

"They're not here, [Name]- only I am."

I collapse to my knees and look up to see Talbot walking towards me with a dark smirk. "No, no, no, no," I scramble back when my mind goes completely foggy and I black out.

My eyes slowly open, and I see my travel bag and press badge on the table. "So [L/Name] is the last one to awaken," Marlowe says, and I look around to see Nate and Harry sitting in a chair with their stuff on the table in front of them as well.

"She has the ring," Nate tells me, gesturing to Marlowe who sits across from him. Harry sits across from one of the agents, and I sit across from Talbot whose dress shirt is unbuttoned at the top and his red tie is loosened up.

"You bastard," I hiss at him, going to stand up when he grabs my wrist.

"Making a scene wouldn't be very wise now- would it, Ms. [L/Name]? You three aren't exactly here legally, remember?" Talbot smirks, and I scowl and lean back in my chair.

"'Greatness from small beginnings'..." Marlowe translates the ring from Latin to English, before looking at Nate and I, "Beneath that cocky exterior, you two are still the same scared, filthy little runaways, aren't you?"

I scoff and cross my arms over my chest, "And you're still holding the record for 'Bitch of the Year', skip the fucking mind games because you'll lose if you even try them."

"You don't know any of us," Nate tells her and she chuckles.

"In fact- I suspect I know you better than anyone, Mr. Drake... of course, that's not your real name, is it?" Kate says and I frown, wondering how she found out Nate's real last name. She pulls out a paper and laughs sinisterly, adjusting her glasses and reading it, "But we won't dwell on that. Mother commits suicide... father surrenders son to the state at the age of five... entrusted to the St. Francis Boys Home in Boston Massachusetts..."

Nate grits his teeth and clenches and unclenches his fists. "It's all so Dickensian..." Marlowe smirks and moves the paper aside before looking at Harry, "Mr. Flynn, I won't lie- I was surprised to see you partnering up with these two. Not very dignifying are you?"
