All The Time

I found these prompts and they're amazing! I am getting a ton of ideas from them.

After five years of living a life that wasn't hers, she returned home. 

She was tired of pretending she didn't exist. Everyone thought she died in that awful accident, and she was beginning to wish she did.

Rambling around town, she reunited with her old husband. Amazed at her ability to recognize him and saddened by the lack of his ever-present smile, she stumbled. Directly into him.

He helped her up. "You're beautiful. Like someone I lost."

Still holding onto him, she simply stared. She stared into his eyes. Oh, how she missed those eyes.

After a moment, she spoke. "Do you miss her?" Her voice scarcely a whisper.

In three words, he broke her heart. "All the time."
