Jace's POV
--------------
Gym 6:30am
~~~~~~~~~
Finishing my last set of pull-ups, I sat down on the bench. My shirt was drenched with sweat and I was exhausted. Looking at my watch, 6:31 I rounded up my things and walked out of the wide revolving doors. Walking to my white sportcar,-yes I own a sportscar but don't worry I'm not spoiled...that much- I popped the trunk and through my bag in. Walking back around, I opened the door and climbed in...Putting the key into the slot, I started my car. My phone buzzed. Megan- heyyy babe. I forgive you and now I want you to come over...b here at 7 my parents aren't home sooo we gotz the house alone;)
She forgives me? I quickly shoved my phone back into my pocket. She broke up with me because I got mad at her for sleeping with another guy! That's so stupid. And now, she wants me to come over and have sex with her? She's crazy...
I drove up to my driveway, and stopped at the gates. I rolled my window down and pressed the red button on the stand. My butlers voice came on through the speaker,"Cannon residence, how may I help you?"
"Hey Murph, it's me," I leaned over and spoke into the microphone.
"Ah, Jace you're home. One moment please." With a buzz sound, the black, brass gate opened. I rolled up the window and proceeded to the garage.
When I arrived at my front entrance, Calvin, my other butler was waiting to take my car. Getting out of the car, I gave him a quick wave and walked into my house. I ran up the stairs, down the white hallway, and pushed the door to my room. I sprinted to my bed and jumped at the last second, landing with a satisfying squish from my weight being tossed onto my king sized waterbed.
With my phone in hand, I got under my blue comforter, and browsed through my IBooks library. The notification button had a little red five on it, so I clicked on it. All of them were messages and recommendations to read John Green's The Fault In Our stars. I clicked on the book and the description popped up. Hmmm a romance novel? I'll just add it to my library, and maybe I'll read it after I finish the book Gone, by Michael Grant. I clicked on the book I was reading now, and started were I left off.
No! Don't let Astrid's brother die!? If he died I just might kill the author. Turing the page to find out if he was still alive, I got an incoming call. Ryan flash on my screen. I quickly pressed the answer button. "He-," he started but I cut him off. "Hey, Ryan. Ima have to call you back in a minute because I'm trying to find out if someone in my book dies or nah, okay?" "Um okay?" He replied confused. I killed the line. Opening back I books, I read the next page. Okay praise The Lord, he's alive. Now to call Ryan back. I closed iBooks and dialed his number.
Ring...Ring..."hello?" He stated.
"Hey Ryan, I was just finishing this page in a book, what did you need?"
"Well I just wanted to ask my best bro if he wanted to go watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with me, but I clearly see he wants his book over his friend..." He replied with a sarcastic tone.
"God Ry, sometimes your a drama queen..." I laughed and shrugged back.
"Okay, I'm coming to get you now. So be ready." He said, and hung up. Ok...guess I'm watching Spider-Man...
