The very way I feel for you
A single is far too less
Do you feel the same too?
They said that they'd always be there...
But then left without a care,
They were the fire...and when they left,
I was left to perish and freeze,
Even though it was only a mild summers breeze.
I felt so alone,
So far away from home...
My heart was full of pain
And I didnt think I could feel or regain.
Then you moved into my view,
Through the darkness, was as if you flew
Held out your hand
Told me its okay
Re-lit the flame
Causing me to forget their game
Making my soul warm again with just a kind word
One that was so lost and unheard
You gave my light back
That I began to believe I'd lost from within
No single word nor a group can express
The very way I feel for you
A single is far too less
