A long time ago in a land ruled with no sympathy, there were knights who worked for the king and queen of the land. They did there work alone. They had 10 rules to go by and if they broke the rules they would be executed. The first rule has never held a grunge. The second rule never did work for anyone else but the king or queen. The third rule was never trusted anyone outside the knight's circle. The fourth rule was to never let your guard down. The others you will learn soon enough. Well, one day the head knight broke every single rule out of the book. The king trusted him so he let him go on a warning. But as his punishment for his crime, the king ordered that the head knight were to work for him for the rest of his life. The head Knight had a wife that died. But the head knight had just had a daughter before his wife died. She grows up smart, beautiful, kind, and strong. She lived in the knight's temple with her father. She had no friends and no family that she knew. One day her father had to go to a meeting in Savannas. "Father why do you have to go" she begged. "Angelina my sweet I have to go for work. The king is sending me there for 4 months then I will be back here with you" he kissed Angelina forehead and continued to pack his bags. "Why can't I go with you, papa? I will not cause you any trouble. I will sit and be quite" she begged her father to let her go. Her father smiled and said softly "you will be safe here and I know you won't have to be stuck in a house all day". Right then a man walked in "sir your horse is waiting for you". He grabbed the knights bags and waited for him at the door. "I love you, papa," Angelina said softly "I love you too my pumpkin pie" he kissed her head and walked out the door to the horse "one more thing my sweet I have enrolled you into the academy near here. There will be a few boys that will watch over you that I have hired." The day was rainy and cold no sighs of the sun showing its face. Angelina watched as her father rode away in the rain. She stood there until she could no longer see him. "So I'm all by myself until the boys get here I guess" she walked in the house. The house was empty, she looked around the large house that looked like the castle to her right now since she was by her self. She fell down on the living room floor and stared at the chandelier until she fell asleep.

"Wake up miss, it's time for to get up" Angelina heard a voice say. "Wake up miss" just she felt someone smack her on the forehead. She woke up startled "who are you two?" she saw to young men standing next to each other. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Grace Grave" he bowed. He had dirty blond hair, tan skin, blue oceans, he was sorter then the other boy. Grace pointed to the boy next to him "and that's Hunter Conner". Hunter was tall with broad shoulders, he had brown spiked hair, he was whiter than Grace, his eyes were blue. They were both wearing the knight's academy clothes. "Why are you in my house? Who are you?" she jumped up and started to look around for an object to grab. "We are your guardians until your dad gets back. He put us in charge of the house to" Grace said with a smile on his face "and don't you dare try to run cause I am going to kill you" Hunter said with a blank expression, he was dead serious about what he just said. Angelina watched as the two boys sat down and started to make themselves comfortable. Hunter throws some clothes at her "put these on. From now on you will be going to school with us as your father said. Hurry up we are going to be late today". Angelina was confused but didn't argue about it. She walked up to her room and got changed. She stopped and stared at herself in the mirror "I can't believe that dad enrolled me in the school. But the boys seem to be a pain in the butt" she folded her socks and fixed her blouse. "Are you done yet miss" Grace was at the door calling for her gently. "Yeah I am" she walked out smiling "let's get going to school for knights".
