"Umm, my grimore's not coming?"

Yup. That's right. I'm so much of a failure I can't even get a grimore. I mean, I know I'm bad and all, but seriously?!?

I can hear people muttering, talking about how pathetic I am. And worst of all, when I say to Yuno about us still being rivals, he walks right past me like I'm not even there. He might as well have torn out my heart, thrown it on the floor, stepped on it and set it on fire I'm so crushed. And no-one from the church seems to care either.

Maybe they're right. Maybe I am pathetic. Maybe, just maybe, I really shouldn't exist.

No! Snap out of it Asta! You can do this! Maybe not TODAY, but some day soon. You will do this!

I'm training again, because why not? Others might have magic, but what is that compared to physical power built up over years of training.

Nah, who am I kidding? Magic is everything in this world. But I may as well. It's the only thing I've got going for me. A few days ago, was it days? It feels like years. Anyway, a few days ago, Yuno, yes, YUNO, called me loud, annoying, obnoxious, short AND not appealing. I mean, yeah, maybe I am easily excitable, but how could he be so cruel?!

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by the sounds of a fight...

Well, I wasn't expecting that. Oh, sorry, what happend? Why, thank you for asking. Guess what?

I GOT A GRIMORE!!! A FREAKING GRIMORE!!! I don't even know how. Apparently I have no magic abilities whatsoever, but I don't care.

I gotta say though, that physical training did come in handy after all. Because my grimore has a HUGE FREAKING SWORD!!!

Anyway, I'm going to train some more now. For the Magic Knights exams in 6 months. I have to get in, otherwise I'll never be able to become the Wizard King! I will do it! It's practically destiny!
