i know there are 2 hours left still before the dawn
1 hour and 55 minute
i feel my heart race a little bit faster with every passing minute
it'll all burn down

9:00 pm.

the pain is becoming stronger than ever
and my chest tightens every time i close my eyes to blink
this can't and shouldn't be forever
a heart that won't let the brain think.

hoping for another morning
don't burn your eyes staring at the sun
you will not find me there, this is your warning.
why do we risk it all just to say we won.

we are our very own monsters
and i'm a rock that needs density lower than the water's
lest sinking like a stone in the sea
but there are no more wanders
nothing left for me here to see
