Edward and Bella made it back home the day before the Cromwell Clan was expected to arrive. The couple got out of their car and made their way to the main Cullen house. "How'd it go?"  Renesmee immediately questions her parents as she cradles her  6 month old baby boy.

"I'd say it went well, how is the baby doing?" Bella reached in and took hold of her grandson. "You're getting so big." Bella coos at the baby who looks up at her with a gummy smile. He slobber as he lifts his chubby tan hand up to her pale cold face. Compared to the typical vampire/human hybrids Julian was different. His genes were geared more towards his shifter side, while his vampire side was muted by his human genes. However, Renesmee's pregnancy was not like her mother's. Her pregnancy lasted 7 months, which was just shy of the  human pregnancy. The only questions that were unanswered about Julian was that the family had no idea if he would be able to shift or if he would have any talents.

"Where is Jacob and the others?" Edward questions while he shuts the front door.

"Grandma and Grandpa went out to hunt, Emmett is out in the back with Jasper, I think Rosalie might be getting something from the garage, Alice didn't say where she was going, and Jacob had a meeting with the tribe." Nessie went over everything in her head to make sure she had everything correct. Bella walked over to the couch and sat down to play with Julian. "Oh! Before I forget grandpa Charlie called, he wanted to let us know that he landed safely in Jamaica with Sue." Nessie giggles as she says this.

"I'm glad he can get out and have some fun."

"But also its good that he and Sue are far away from all of this. You know Leah and Seth would have through a fit if anything happened to Sue." Renesmee sat on the couch next to Bella, her legs tucked under her. Bella smiles and blows little raspberry kisses all over Julian's cheeks. The little baby squeals, throwing himself back to dodge the assaults.

Edward watched his family for a bit before he left the room to go play his piano. This was the best way he had been able to blow off some steam. He was frustrated that after all these years his family could not live their lives in peace. The Volturi once again always had to stick their nose in things that didn't involved them. They hunger for power would surely be their demise and Edward would make sure of that.

Later on that day everyone had begin to gather at the Cullen's main house. Their house was filled with vampires from all over the world. It was just like the day when they needed witnesses for when Renesmee was a child, except this time around there were more bodies with stronger powers.

Carlisle stood in the center of the living room, his arm snaked casually around Esme's waist. "I'd like to thank you all for coming here, to risk your lives for the protection of my family. It was only 10 years ago that we all stood here for the very same thing, and won against our rulers who so desperately wanted to take us down. It seems...my friends that history has repeated itself and I only hope to have the same outcome as we did the first time."

"Hell yeah! Hopefully this time we actually get to whip some Volturi ass!" Emmet hoots from besides Rosalie. Rosalie rolls her eyes at her husband's antics, but a small smirk rested on her lips.

"Emmett, please, we are hoping that in the end it will not come down to that." Esme speaks up, being the nurturing person that she was. "We can only hope that the Volturi will see that Julian is not a threat, just like Renesmee was not a threat." Renesmee nods her head as she cradles her son.

"The shifters are here,"

The vampires in the room began to cringe when the smell of the shifters settled into the room, assaulting their noses. "No matter how much time we spend around them I will never get over their stench." Rosalie sneers with her arms crossed over her chest.
