ch. 24

me and mina sit on the couch with jihoon on my side with the bag on. she enjoys her ice cream and snacks while me and jihoon watch.

mina looks at us.

"you guys want some?" mina ask.

"no! you enjoy it." i say and smile.

"are you sure?" she takes a spoon full of ice cream and puts it infront of my mouth.

"positive. " i say.

she licks the ice cream from the spoon.

jihoon's stomach growls, loud enough for me and mina to hear.

i look at jihoon.

mina hands us a bag of chips. i grab it and give it to jihoon.

"thank you." jihoon says.

"you're welcome." mina says.

"can i take off the bag? " jihoon asks.

"sure. " mina says.

jihoon takes of the bag.

"better? " i ask.

he nods.

we hear a knock at the door.

"i'll get it." i say.

i stand up and walk to the door. i turn the knob and open it to see daniel.

i gasp.

"daniel! what are you doing here?" i say.

"whos here?!" mina yells hearing the name.

"danny?" i say nervously.

"jieun!" mina says and stands up to walk to the door.

"what are you doing here?" mina asked.

"you've been ignoring me. are you okay?" daniel says.

"im perfectly fine." mina says.

i back away as two of them have a chat.

jihoon walks up to me.

all of a sudden we hear mina talk abit louder.

"what are they talking about?" he asks.

"they're arguing?" i say.

"are they?" he says.

i look at him and shrug my shoulders.

"you know the girl daniel went to go visit was his cousin." jihoon says with no facial expression.

i look at him with big eyes then smack his shoulder.

jihoon groans in pain.

"why didnt you say anything!?" i whisper-yell[?].

"i forgot?" he says questionally.

i walk up to mina and daniel.

i hear mina yelling.

i run.

"mina!" i yell louder than her.

mina turns to me with anger.

i chuckle nervously.

"i think you should let daniel explain." i say.

"why should i?" mina say.

"just let him, please?" i say.

"fine." mina says.

mina leta daniel in. we walk to the couch. we all sit.

"explain!" mina says.

"the girl i was with was my cousin. she was in america for 4 years and she was visiting. shes alot older then me too." daniel explains.

"how old." mina asks.

"32."

mina looks at me then grabs me by my arm. she stands which causes me to stand. mina smiles at daniel.

we walk away from the 2 boys.

"where are we going?" i ask.

we go into minas room. she closes the door and locks it.

mina lets go of me and starts walking back and forth.

"are you okay?" i ask.

"do you think hes lying?' mina asks.

"you dont trust him?" i say.

"i do. i just dont know if hes lying." mina says.

"forgive him." i say.

"what?" mina looks at me.

"if he does go out with a different girl then you cant trust him. " i say.

mina nods.

we get out and go back to the living room.

"daniel,"

daniel stands up.

"i forgive you. " mina says.

daniel gives mina a tight hug and mina hugs back.

i walk over to jihoon. jihoon hugs me.

[gasp] "omg!" i surprisingly say.

i hig back.

"lets all go on a date." mina suggested still hugging daniel.

"we're fine. you two can go alone." i say.

i look at jihoon who still is hugging me and pouts.

i grab his hands so he would let me go.

"bye." i wave to daniel and mina.

i grab jihoon's hand and we walk out of mina's house.

i let go of jihoon's hand.

"why didnt you want to go?" jihoon asks.

"i didnt want to and daniels been ignored the whole day so they need time together." i explain.

"you're too nice. " he says.

"thanks." i smile.

"do you want to hang out with me then?" he asks.

"you're my boyfriend, of course. " i say.

"where do you wanna go?" he asks.

i shrug my shoulders.

we think.

"oh! i know." he says.

"where?" i say.

he didn't say anything but stick his hand out and i intertwine our hands. he walks first and i walk behind him.
