When no one understands the pain you get when writing sad scenes so whenever they see you cry while writing, they go up and ask what's wrong, and when you say in response that you wrote something sad, they're like "Well you're the author, so you have the power over if it happens," but really, you don't because if you don't have the sad scene, or character/couple death, then you can't progress the plot.
