Far Away ~Miraculous Ladybug Fanfic~ (Adrien X Marinette X Luka)

Adrien's POV

"No! I'm almost late!" I yell as I rush into school. I'd been so busy talking to Bee, Rena, and Carapace about the Marinette thing that I forgot that I still had school today! (A/N: Okay Lol I FINALLY decided to look at what Nino's superhero name will be and it's Carapace or something sooooooooooooooooooooo maybe I'll start using it?). While running past students to get to my class I bump into a girl with inky blue-black hair down to her waist.

"Sorry!" I yell.

I sigh a breath of relief as I enter my classroom on time. When I look up, I see Nino waving me over. I also look at the seat where Marinette once sat.

"Sorry dude, no luck again today with Marinette coming back." Nino says while taking out his homework.

"Figured." I say.

"Class, settle down please, I have an announcement. We are having a new student join us today!" The teacher says, "Please, come on in sweetheart."

When the new student walks in, the whole room quiets down completely. I wonder why. I saw her out in the hallways.

The girl stands up straight and tall as she looked towards our class. "Hello again everybody." She starts. "I know that I probably look very different right now but, I'm glad to see you all again."

"What is she talking about?" I hear Chloe whisper to Sabrina.

"Who is she?" Nino asks. "She's pretty cute though.."

"I don't know." I answer. "But she kinda looks familiar."

She laughs. "I knew that you guys wouldn't recognize me!"

What? Who is she anyways? Was she a student that moved away a few years ago? Wait... those eyes...those bluebell eyes... I've seen them before... wait.... no... she can't be--!

  The girl laughs again. "It's me, Marinette Dupain-Cheng."  

Suddenly the whole room gasps; including me. "M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M....MARINETTE?!" We all scream. 

MARINETTE?! MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG?! No... wait... IT CAN'T BE? SINCE WHEN?! IS THIS EVEN REAL?! HAS MY WISH OF MARINETTE COMING BACK HOME FINALLY BECOME TRUE?! COULD THIS MEAN THAT LADYBUG MIGHT COME BACK FROM THE HOLE SHE'S BEEN SOMEWHAT HIDING IN FROM US?!

"MARINETTE?! ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU'RE MARINETTE?!" Alya shouts while running towards the girl that claims she's our long-lost Marinette.

"Haha. Hey... let me guess... Alya?" Marinette says.

"No... no way..." Alya says backing up. "You look nothing like my precious Mari!"

"If you really are Marinette, prove it." I say.

"Let me guess again...hmm... You're Adrien? Well, for my birthday in sixth grade, you gave me a lucky charm bracelet that had blue and yellow beads tied onto red string." She says putting her hands on her hips.

I'm speechless. That is the exact description of the bracelet I gave Marinette two years ago. Four months before she went missing. After Marinette had given me her old lucky charm when we were practicing for the MEGA STRIKE III tournament, I had always wanted to pay her back the favor and make one for her myself. There is no doubting it; this is Marinette.

"...M-MARINETTE?! IT IS YOU! WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST FREAKING TWO YEARS?!" I yell while shaking Marinette back and forth.

"Hey! That's my line!" Alya says pushing me away and shaking Marinette back and forth for herself.

"Haha... nice too see you guys too!" Marinette says, rubbing her head.

"OMG! Marinette! I AM SO SORRY FOR EVERYTHING I DID TO YOU WHEN WE WERE MIDDLESCHOOLERS!" Chloe says hugging Marinette.

"Um... who is this...?" Marinette says.

Alya and I laugh. "Marinette, meet the new Chloe." We say at the same time.

"?!" Is all Marinette says. "Hey.... Chloe? You're forgiven." Marinette finally stutters while hugging Chloe back.

The only one that isn't happy to see Marinette is Lila of course. Ever since she "became" the fake Volpina two years ago and was exposed for all her lies, no one talked or believed anything she said. (A/N: DATS WHAT U GET LIE-LA!). Lila never really met Marinette anyways so it's no surprise that she had no reaction to Marinette coming back.

"Okay, okay class. I know that you're happy to see that Marinette is back and I know that you have a bunch of questions about where in the freaking world she was but I have to get class started." Our teacher says.

"Yes Ms. Bustier." We all say at once. Then we all go back to our seats.

"Come Marinette, sit next to me." Alya says to the girl.

"Kay." She answers.

I've missed this girl sitting behind me during class so much...

Maybe... I love her?

No... Marinette is just a friend.

(A/N: -Stops everything she does, stands up, brings the whole fandom with her, and tells them to read what she just wrote, and listens to them scream at freaking Adrien, then screams at Adrien herself for the next hour. -ahem- I am sorry, continue).

 A really great friend at that.

And... I'm glad that she's back...
