"Good morning guys, today we're going to the beach with Luke's family. So right now," Caleb said to the camera and brought his plate of breakfast up to the camera, "I'm eating breakfast. Oh and there's Annie!" Caleb handed the camera to Annie, and she rambled on about how excited she is to see her friend, Sydney. Caleb thought, 'I'm excited to see Sydney too... I just don't want the viewers to ship us again. It probably makes her uncomfortable.' He sighed, deep in thought, and continued to eat.
  Caleb's POV
We got out of the car, and I gave Luke one of those bro-hugs. I gave Sydney a little glance, but she was talking away with Annie and Hayley. I decided that today is beach day, I don't need to worry about girls right now. I mean, I'm 15... never mind.
"Dude, the waves are huge! Lets go surf," Luke said.
"Yeah, lets go," I replied, and grabbed my board.
We're both not that great at surfboarding, but we're not that bad either. At least I can ride a wave, not go crashing down.
  Later
I changed into a yellow t-shirt and gray shorts, and grabbed the new light-up football Luke and I bought at a gift shop.
"Where are you going?" Sydney suddenly asked me, leaning over my shoulder.
I tried to sound as calm as possible. "I was going back down to throw it against the wall."
"Oh, can I come?" she asked, sounding eager.
"Sure." We both walked out of the hotel room, with Hayley and mom trailing behind us. "Wanna catch for me?" I asked Sydney.
She shrugged, "Sure."
I threw it up at her, since she was sitting on top of the wall and I was at the bottom. We threw it back and forth until Hayley complained that she was cold and we went back inside.
"You're a great baseball player," Sydney said, breaking the silence.
"Thanks," I smiled, "you're a great gymnast."
I saw her smile at the compliment. Her smile was so soft, she looked cute when she smiled. She looked up and saw me looking at her, the smile still remained on her face.
"So," I awkwardly said, looking at the floor and chuckled.
"So," she mocked back.
"How's level 10 treating you?"
"Eh, it's going. Really hard work, not gonna lie," she replied.
"Cool." Wow Caleb, that's all you say back? Cool?
We arrived at our room after another minute of silence. We went in our opposite ways to our rooms, but I was stopped.
"Good night, Caleb," Sydney said softly.
"Night, Syd," I replied, a smile spreading across my face.
