"So... Caleb is attempting to climb this rope," laughed Mrs. Katie, pointing the camera at him. "I'm... trying," Caleb insisted, struggling. "Let the gymnast handle this," Sydney came walking in a model strut, and climbed the rope with ease. Caleb huffed, and fell flat on his back onto the sand. Sydney laughed, and came down.
Sydney's POV
I get out my phone and quickly go to snapchat. "Hey Caleb, how's the sand treating you?" I laugh, recording.
"Oh, it's great," Caleb replies, squinting from the sunlight.
I laugh, and end the video. The purple heart crown filter was on, and I add a caption.
"aw he can't climb a rope😂"
I laugh and post it, Caleb gets up and looks at my phone screen.
"Seriously?" he laughs.
"Yes sir," I jokingly say back.
Later
We eat dinner at a restaurant in City Walk, and I sit in between Annie and Caleb. I look outside the window and see the beautiful fountains light up in purple and blue lights. Caleb must've seen what I was looking at, because he smiled at me.
"Mom, me and Sydney will be right back," he says.
"What?" I question.
"Just come with me," he told me and grabbed my hand to help me up.
He leads me outside to look at the fountains closer.
"Woah," I awe. They were more beautiful in person than behind a glass. He suddenly picks me up at the waist and he curves around the fountains.
"Caleb, don't you dare get my wet," I laugh.
"Oh, you're daring me?" I can hear the smirk in his voice.
"Oh no, Ca-" my sentence gets cut short when he walks right through a fountain. "Caleb!"
All I hear is his laugh, his really cute laugh, and I turn around. His hair is soaked, and it's covering his eyes. I smile and move his hair to one side, so I could see his eyes. We stay there for a moment, looking at each other.
Until Mrs. Katie says, "Dinner!"
