REINCARNATED: EMBER

2. Awakening

When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the blinding light of  chandelier hanging from the ceiling above me..

It seems like everything was a dream... but where am I? This place, I know I am not in a Hospital... There's no way this place is a Hospital... Huh! Hospital having chandelier as their lightings?

I look around and found myself in a luxurious room.. I can feel the soft matress on my back... I tried to get up... Strange, I can't seem to move my body. All I can do is to wiggle my hands and feet. Ugh, It seemed that my body is paralized.. What's wrong with this body?! While I was busy cursing this body of mine, the door suddenly open...

A woman walked in, she looks like she's in her late 20s. She is wearing a maid outfit, a cute one but something caught my attention, it's the thing poking out of her head.. I do not know if it's a cat's or wolf's ear... she also has a tail.. it looks so fluffy though..

"Oh, you're awake, Ember-sama." her language is different, I don't know what language it is but I could somehow understand her and she seemed to be talking to someone named Ember... Strange, noone is in this room aside for the both of us. So who is that Ember?

The maid started walking towards me, huh? wait! She suddenly picks me up like I was as light as a feather. Is she that strong? She carry me outside the room. Where is she taking me?

We or she walk to a long hallway and stopped infront of a huge double door. The maid knocked two times then I heard a masculine voice spoke inside..

"Your excellency, I have brought your daughter, Young lady Ember." I frozed and my mind seemed to log as I heard what the maid had said... your daughter, Young lady Ember. What the he— hexagon!

"Come inside."

My heart started pounding in a fast pace as the maid open the double door. We walked in and it seemed that this room is the living room. Chandelier, made of crystals that shone yellow lights hang from the ceiling. Various furnitures made of expensive materials, decorated the room and a wide staircase, about 20 steps high.

I saw a man and a woman seating beside each other in a sofa. They looked like a couple, rather they are really a couple... The man has a long black hair and golden eyes, while the woman has long silver hair tied in a bun and a Ruby-like eyes.. they both have cat-like ears, they look stunning.. it was like I was seeing at the definition of perfection.

The woman smiled brightly as she saw me, the maid hands me over the woman... Just like the maid, she carry me with ease.

"Hello there, little one. I am your mother Aria Raven and this is your father Eon Raven." I look at her Ruby-like eyes, with confusion. My mom, she's not this young nor beautiful as this woman... Tell me I am dreaming, there is no way this beauty is my mom.. What just happened? I think I am loosing my sanity and hallucinating things... or is it a hallucination? Ah! I might be dreaming... odd I am having strange dreams, lately. First, I dreamt of my death... talking with a cute god... reincarnated by the god... Then this! I should pinch myself for me to wake up..

I lifted my hand and try to pinch my cheeks.. pinch.. pinch.. Eh? It seems that I have no strength, it looks like I am just rubbing my cheeks..

"Aww! Honey, look she's so cute!"  the woman giggled as she squeezed me lightly.

"Yeah, I wan'na hug her to death!" the man said dreamily... I just ignore what he said like he never said that but I think the woman holding me take it seriously for I saw her glaring at the man beside her then smack his head.. Aw! After that, the woman then turn her attention to me and looked at me lovingly.

"It's nighttime already." she muttered then started to sway her arms where I am. She sing a lullaby, I suddenly felt sleepy as I yawned. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
