It is around 4:30am and I am awake due to the wind. All I can keep thinking about is this couple in Costa yesterday. Honestly, I think they're the couple you see in those cute, romantic movies - the ones that are seemingly too perfect to be real.
So the girl sat down first, she must be 20 or so. She never checked her phone, but instead, she pulled out a copy of Shakespeare's sonnets. At first I thought it was a bit weird that she didn't have a drink and was just reading; but then this boy came along with the drinks.
The biggest smile ever went across her face when she saw him. She asked what he had got her; he replied "Hazelnut latte, soya milk & a flake inside of course"
She literally could not stop smiling.
The boy, who I later discovered to be called Alex and the girl, I discovered to be called Sophie, then started talking about politics, science and of course, Sophie brought up Shakespeare. I just found it so adorable.
Next, Sophie did the cutest thing ever. Whilst they were both sipping their coffee, she stopped and just looked at him, her eyes were beaming. It took Alex a good minute to realise what she doing and he just shouted with the most British accent "What?"
"I love you" she replied
"I love you too" Alex replied
I then left.
That is like the dream relationship, isn't it? Someone who you can have long intellectual talks with about your favourite things, Someone who loves you no matter what and Someone who knows everything about you.
They were so perfect I can't even.
