#Maki's Surprise#

#MAKI'S POV#

"Sugoi, Maki-san!! Never thought that you'll be the main article of the basketball daily! Sugoi!!" Kiyota praised with a smile while he was reading the school newspaper, I smirked before taking a sip from my soda, "Be quiet about that. It has some secrets behind.. You know what people say;

"Pictures says thousands of words"

so I better keep it as a secret." I told him with a grin, however, I could still feel about it when I suddenly kissed her without any reasons, is my heart really beating crazy for her? Or is it just an illusion? After lunch, as the usual, attending classes before basketball practice.

While taking down notes, a light tap from my shoulder made me look behind and it was Akihiko's sister Sawaki.

"Any problem?"

"Umm.. I've been noticing.. Are you really writing down the notes from the board or writing a name of a girl?"

"? ? ?"

Sawaki stood up from her seat as she took my notebook and faced it to me pointing by her finger on the right side and it made me blush all of a sudden.
"Who's Natsui?" She asked me with a curious look.
"It's a friend of mine. She doesn't go here at Kainan.." I replied as she was very curious about it.
"C'mon tell me! Please~~" she begged like a five year old.
"She's actually the young sister of the Ace player of Ryonan, Akira Sendoh.. She's also known to play basketball when she was in middle school.." I told her just to make her stop asking everything, I wanted Natsui's identity be hidden from everyone except from Kiyota, Jin and the others also, I'm not that rude sharing it to my friends..

#NATSUI'S POV#

"Achoo!" I sneezed all of a sudden while walking home from school, however that article weekly made me a little surprised and not knowing what to do.

"I'm home!"

"Ah, Natsui~ welcome home.." Sendo said with a smile as he went out from the kitchen.
"How's school?" He asked and I smiled and coiled myself up into the couch to rest.
"Been good.. But busier these past few days.." replying before grabbing the throw pillow from my side.

"Really?"

"Yep! And it's almost time to prepare for that annual Kanagawa JS school prom.. For short all the schools in Kanagawa.."

"Well seems that's right.. Any dress you had decide to wear yet?"

"None of it.. Maybe, I won't attend..."

"Why? C'mon young lady, it's just a once in a lifetime!" He told me with a smile but I tried to smile back at my brother.

Who will be my prom date anyway?

. . . . WEEKEND CAME. . . .

My brother and I decided to buy our formal attires for that event this next, next, week. I really wish I had the taste on gowns but I prefer wearing shirt and skirt which makes me comfortable, but it says in the invitation it should be in FORMAL, so cannot argue with that, we arrived at the store and my brother picks out his while I pick mine, while looking in every aisle of beautiful dresses, I notice someone also on the left as she  was wearing a uniform from Kainan, it made me curious and then finally, she found a dress that fits for her, I followed her direction where she went and made me stopped, the girl was with Maki, I pretend that I didn't saw anything, and went back to pick out a dress for me.

"So, did you pick any?"

"Well, just a simple white dress with light pink sequins attached to it."

"May your brother see it?"

I sighed and showed the dress, however a girl approached us all of a sudden.

"Maki, look at this dress.. This is the one~" she spoke right before she tugs it from my hand.
"Umm.. Excuse me, I picked out this dress.." I replied before she takes it away from me, but she ignored me until Maki arrives.

"Sawaki, that dress is been picked out.. Why don't you pick other dress asides that."

"But I want this!!"

"Miss, my sister got it and we'll be paying for that."  Sendo spoke as he and Maki were really rivals especially on this, he gave Maki a smile while Maki gave my brother a smirk.
Damn his smirk is a killer~♥♥ I thought while holding the dress but this girl before me was fighting to get it.
"Sawaki, he's right.. Just pick another dress and--,"

#MAKI'S POV#

I broke when Natsui gave the white dress to Sawaki, making Sendo surprised and Sawaki smiled, but for Natsui, that was the dress that she wanted and I wanted to see at the prom.
"Brother, let's go pay for your tuxedo.. I'm not gonna buy any dress for now.." she said turning her gaze away from me and left the store.

"Thanks a lot Sawaki.."

"For what?"

"For getting other people's dress without even asking!"

"Well, this dress suites me well.. And besides, the polka dot dress fits for her not mine."

Those words from Sawaki made me froze when I finally saw her true color, instead getting mad, I ignored her while paying the dress for herself, while she was paying, I saw something more elegant & beautiful to the eyes, it was a simple light purple cocktail dress matching to my tuxedo that I'm going to wear, I told the salesman to reserved the dress and named it after hers. When Sawaki brought her dress, I looked at my wristwatch to look at the time and I pretended that it's time for me to go home.
