When I woke up, my room was pitch black. My eyes darted to my electric alarm clock to the left of me. The red numbers showed 5:27 A.M. I crossed my arms over my eyes and just lay there for a moment. After a while, I decided to get up. I fumbled through my blanket and tumbled off the bed. Ow. I rolled off my back and crawled on the ground into the bathroom. I got up and looked into the mirror. In the reflection was a medium-sized 15 year old girl with long and wavy dark chocolate hair, soft brown eyes, and light colored freckles. I slipped on my big, black framed glasses, which added a geeky touch. I followed my routine of brushing my teeth, combing out my difficult hair, and put it into a tight ponytail.

I returned to my room and put on denim shorts and my favorite cropped shirt. I  exited the room, locking my door. I slowly walked downstairs. Still half asleep, I walked into the kitchen, managing to only stub my toe against a chair. I cursed in pain then started hopping to the fridge. I opened it. It was empty. Not even a slice of bread. Pitiful, really. I’ll have to order Nate to bring me my food.

I picked up the phone and dialed Nate’s number. I told him to bring me the usual and hung up. Then I re-dialed to Dad. It went straight to voicemail. “Hello, this is James Stellara, owner and CEO President of Stell Stars. Sadly, I am not available at the moment, but you may try again later! Thank you!”  Dad must be in a meeting. That’s what happens when the President and CEO of one of the greatest recording studios gets famous. The price is getting tons of money and meeting big stars -- lose time with Dad. I sighed and sat in a chair. Just then, the phone started ringing so I picked it up. It was Yuki, my best friend.

 “Hi Lily!”

“Hey Yuki! How’s Japan?”

“Awesome! Hey listen, I got a special surprise for you.”

“It’s not another jet plane, is it?”

“Even better. You know the smartest school in the country, Cristo Rev Academy?”

I soon became suspicious. “Yeah?”

“I just enrolled you!”

I paused then pinched myself. Along with being the smartest, it’s also the most expensive. And it’s an all – boy school!

I sighed. “ Yuki, who did you blackmail this time?”

“No, no! Daddy signed an agreement contract with them, and the all-girl school next door (Le Salleté), and knowing you’re all geeky and stuff, enrolled you with a 4-year scholarship under the name Leo Stellara. Ta-da!”

I was speechless. You may ask, “Lily, why don’t you go to that all-girl school and save all that trouble?”, and I would say the girls there are mean and the school is second-rate in education.

“But Yuki, I’m no boy, you know.”

“I know.” Then she hung up for some reason.

“Uh, hello?  Yuki?”

Out of the blue, there was a knock at the door. I put the phone down and walked through the living room to the door. Probably Nate, I thought. But instead, it was Yuki! All in her school girl outfit bow in hair, and arms full of shopping bags. She plainly smiled and let herself in, already unpacking onto the couch. I was still hanging with the door open. I closed the door and turned around.

“Yuki? What are you doing here exactly? Shouldn’t you be in Japan? J-just a thought, you know, but how did you get here this fast?”

She stopped unpacking and looked as if I insulted her. “Jet plane, silly! How else?! Now Lily, or Leo, let’s bring out your inner man, you!"
