How did I Get here... ( A Mario: The Music Box FanFic)

chapter 1

Sammie's pov
log 1
as I went to bed I woke up in a really familiar place. It reminds me of that horror game Luigi Kid played that I never finished watching...what was it called Um...Mario: The Music Box I think.

I close my journal and walked around I noticed something in the fountain and if this is the game I'm thinking of then that should be a crowbar. I reached for it and I was right a rusty crowbar." heh figures it's a one-use-only item "I sighed as I walked over to the door started to use the crowbar as I heard footsteps and the word."hello!?" I looked at me to see Mario himself. "oh uh... hi I'm Sammie. nice to meet you uh..." I didn't want to say his name and freak him out."Mario!" he said as I turned back around but instead of doing it on my own Mario grabbed my hands and helped me open it. I looked at the now broken door. my face red because he was still holding me." hmm... seems the crowbar broke after we used it." he said." oh i knew it would most items are one-use items that brake after you use them the first time or  are only able to use it on one thing like a door or a puzzle." I say as he finally lets go of me. " how did you know that?" he asked me." I play too many video games." was all I said as I walked in.

*time skip* 

I woke up and realize I got separated from Mario. " Mario!? Where did you go!?" I called out as someone walked throw the door." Mario!" the person said.' that voice is it, Luigi.' I think as I made myself look like I was asleep still." Mario wher -!" he said stopped as he ran over to me." oh my a goodness!" he picked me up and I still pretended to sleep.

Luigi's Pov

I picked up the sleeping girl." oh please say you're ok..." I said walking over into a room with Mario hanged from the ceiling."n-no!" I didn't want to drop the sleeping kid in my arms so I laid her on the right bed

(time skip)

I looked at Mario."...He will be alright... Yeah.Just...asleep... Although it feels like an illusion." I say to no one in particular. I hear coughing, I look at the girl she bolts up panicking like she just had a nightmare. I walk over to her and hold her." hey it's ok, calm down I'm here." I say as calmly as possible. she stops panicking and hugs me." I had a n-nightmare," she said shakily." it's ok I'm here." I say to her she is already calmer but... why am I calming her down? what is telling me to help her? "um...-Mario!?" she said happy yet confused as she got off of the bed and walked over to him." he looks different..." she said looking at his face." what do you mean?" I asked wondering." he feels different like he's not real..." She backed up." let's leave we need to look around for any clue as to if he's real or not." She said walking towards the door.
