THEO

It was in that december night eight years ago, that moment that would change Theo's life forever. It was the last day of the holidays and their parents left for the night because their grandma had just passed away.  Back then Theo didn't know what death meant, he didn't understand why his mother cried and his dad wouldn't explain it to him. They told his older sister Tara to take care of him while they were gone. They watched movies and ate pizza until Theo got tired. His sister brought him to bed and before he closed his eyes he asked "Tara, what does death mean?". His sister looked at him "It means you'll never see the person again. Now close your eyes and sleep" she replied and kissed his forehead. Theo closed his eyes and fell asleep, not knowing that this was the last time he saw his sister.

As Theo woke up the next morning Tara was gone. Once his parents came home they called the police and for five years Tara was missing, she disappeared and no one knew why. His mother went crazy not knowing what happened to her daughter and no matter what his father tried to cheer her up, it didn't work. Theo began to feel like he didn't exist, like he was not part of this family, like he didn't belong. His parents barely talked to him, and when they did it was something like 'clean the room' or 'wash the dishes'. It continued till one day he couldn't take it anymore. He thought to himself that if he left they would maybe not even recognize it, or at least they wouldn't be sad. In their eyes he was just a boy who happened to live with them. So one day he grabbed a bag, put some clothes inside, stole the money that they kept inside a book and climbed out of the window, leaving his parents and his old life behind.

LIAM

Growing up Liam always had problems with anger issues. It started in elementary school when a kid picked on him and he threw a plate on him. He didn't know that it would hurt him this badly, he only realized it when it was already too late. The boy was bleeding and everyone looked at Liam, shocked by what he did. Since that day the kids were scared of him. No one picked on him anymore but Liam was also left with no friends. Once his parents divorced it got worse and he had to get professional help, but it never really helped him. Somehow his mom fell in love with his doctor and suddenly Liam had a new dad. At first it was hard for him to accept that - esespecially because he didn't like doctors anyways- but for his mom he tried to get along with him.

Starting high school Liam thought he would finally be able to overcome his issue and make some new friends. He joined the lacrosse team, he got friends, he was a great lacrosse player and his grades weren't bad either. Everything was perfect until his coach retired and they got a new coach. From the first day of training he started to provoke Liam, for example by calling him names like 'Dumb-bar'. It was the first match in the season, their team was about to lose and Liam couldn't hold back his anger. He attacked a player of the other team on the field and as a result his coach forced him to sit on the bench for the rest of the season. In a intense moment of rage he destroyed the car of his coach with a crowbar. Once they found out he was immediately expelled from school and his parents made him get professional help. Later he was diagnosed Intermittent explosive disorder - a behavioral disorder characterized by explosive outbursts of anger and violence- and sent to a new high school.
