chapter 11; he sees them

I look into the mirror and I see that I have a bruise starting to show around my eye and chin. I guess when she hit me me it rubbed off the makeup that cover up the bruises on my face, so it shows. I wiped me face of tears and slowly make my way to my stuff and bent over to pick it up, but as I did I gasped in pain holding my stomach, god it hurts so much. I bend the rest of the way down and pick up my bag and slung it onto my shoulder and got up and walk out of the girls locker room. As I walk to the doors of the Gym, there was Ethan walking back and forwarded pacing in front of the doors. "Shit" I mumble under my breath bit he herd it and look up at where I stud. "Jan, I was w... What happened" he said the smile on his face disappeared from his face and instead there was worry that took over. I knew if I don't get him to stay away from me Lilly will beet the shit of me, so I new I had to hurt him so bad he won't want to talk to me ever again. I took a deep breath in knowing this will be the end of my only friend "you did this Ethan, you how did this, you don't know how to stay away do you? I told you to stay away from my, but no you had to ruin me, well guess what we're done and I won't you to stay the hell away from me. I swear if you don't I won't hurt you so dang bad that your repetition will be so fucken screwed". I made sure that I put as much acid into my voice as I could. I look at his face as he look hurt and I could not look at him so I ran pass him, slamming the door behind me as I run to the door exit and out the school and kept running pass me house pass the park and into the abandoned house to my corner, the time I slid down to the ground my face was covered in tears, nonstop. I cried so hard that I fell asleep in the sitting up position against the wall.
(Nightmare)
" F- father p- please" my voice shook with fear, my whole body shaking as I screamed in pain as he took his knife, cutting my arm. "Shut up you piece of worthless shit" my father yells at me, cutting deeper in to my arm and I screamed louder than I ever have before.
(End of nightmare)
I woke up screaming, and I could not come down, I could not breath it was like someone was choking me.
(Ethan's point of view)
I waited at the Gym doors, hoping to be able to ask Jan if she wanted to hang out with me. I keep walking back and forward when I heard someone mumbling "shit" and when I tern around there she stud not far from me. "Jan, I was w... What happened" I ask her, her face was bruised, her cheek bone, her left eye was turning a blueish color, and she look like she'd been crying a lot. I went to ask her again but she interrupt me "you did this Ethan, you how did this, you don't know how to stay away do you? I told you to stay away from my, but no you had to ruin me, well guess what we're done and I won't you to stay the hell away from me. I swear if you don't I won't hurt you so dang bad that your repetition will be so fucken screwed" she yelled at me, bam that hurts. I was about to take a step forwarded but she ran past me slamming the doors behind her.

I sat down on the swing set looking up at the stars wondering what I did wrong for it to be my fault for her being beet up. I like being Jan's friend, what did I do wrong, I screwed up on my very first friend here, great. I look down at my phone it read 10:30, I have to home or my mother will freak out. I stud up and started to walk away but suddenly screams came from the old abandoned house, I ran to the door of the house and thrown it opens and ran in. After I followed the screaming to a room and in the corner was a girl laying on the floor, but as I got to the doorway she stop screaming and was sitting up gasping for air. I ran over and fell to my knees in front of her, as I look in to the girls face which terns out to be Jan. "Jan, Jan look at me, breath" I said grading her chin softly forcing her to look at me. Her breathing didn't slow down so I look into her eyes "Jan look into my eyes and follow my breathing ok, Jan wach". Jan look into my eyes as if she finely saw I was their, she copied my breathing till her breathing slowed down.
