Fred Weasley: Afterlife

FRED's P.O.V

"George don't even think about it! It's not worth it." I try to get his attention, but I reluctantly remembered, he can't hear me. I wrote something on the ground saying, 'Don't do it, Georgie. Going back in the past and risking your life is not worth it. We'll be reunited once you're ready to go'. I suddenly notice tears falling down from his face. I hovered beside him but he looks at where I'm hovering and he suddenly smiles. 

"Fred! Is... Is that really you?" George asks. Can he really see me? 

"Yes, it's really me. C-can you hear me?" Is this really happening? Or is he just pretending he can see me? No he couldn't be, he's looking directly at me.  Maybe this was real. Maybe he can actually see me. If Fred were still alive, he would be be pale white, but then again, he wouldn't be shocked to see him.

GEORGE's P.O.V

Is this real? Or am I just seeing this inside my head, like a dream? George started smiling for the first time in a year.

"F-Freddie! I-I can't believe it's really you!" George ran to him to give him a hug, but all he felt was cold air. He didn't realize he went through his brother until he looked back. He suddenly started to sob.

"George." Fred said." Don't be sad, there will be a time when we'll be reunited again. We can prank together. I'll always be with you no matter what."  George started to tear up. He fell onto his knees not knowing what to do next. 

"Why did it have to be you..!? Out... Out of all people, why you?" He says difficultly.

FRED'S P.O.V

Fred doesn't know how to react. He's never seen his brother like this before. He's used to seeing him all cheerful. He tries to say something, but nothing comes out. I've never seen George so miserable. 

"G-George?" He says cautiously. He doesn't look back. Fred just leaves him alone hoping he will calm down eventually. He goes beind the bush. Thinking about what would've happened if he hadn't died. He hears Harry and Ginny.

"George! Are you okay?" Ginny asks worriedly.

"He's here! Fred's here!" He says as more tears fall down. Fred goes to them.

"H-Hey guys." Fred says nervously. He looks at Harry and Ginny. Ginny eyes start to well up and in just less than a second, tears start to fall. Harry hugs her tightly. 

"I-I'll come back later." Fred says in a sad tone. He says and leaves until no one can see him.
