Ever since Rex died it's been rough for Mystery. He has been very sad lately making Kao worried. When Mystery was in work Kao came in his office. "Hey you ok? " Kao asked. Mystery looked at the little goat. Kao looked like Rex on Mystery view. "I know your upset about Rex but it's ok Rex is still with you in heaven" Kao said as he placed his paw on Mystery's shoulder. Mystery started to cry a bit because Kao is acting like Rex. Mystery pulled Kao into a hug in surprise. Kao hugged back. Mystery started to sob. "Hey it's ok no need to cry, I can talk to you later after work if you want" Kao said. Mystery nodded. Mystery lets go of Kao. Kai waves goodbye as he went to finish work. Mystery waves back when starts messing.

Kao came in the office again when Mystery was looking at a picture of him and Rex. "Hey I'm here, I told Alfred I worked late tonight" Kao said. Mystery looked up and saw Kao in front of him. Kao sat down in a chair in front of the desk. Mystery placed the picture down and looked at Kao. "So what do you want to talk about? " Kao asked. "Well I really don't know but you just remind me of Rex, your playful, happy and joyful" Mystery said. Kao blushed very lightly. "I just wanted to ask if we can hang out?" Mystery said. "Of course we can! If it makes you happy" Kao said happily. Mystery smiled. "T-thanks Kao" Mystery said. "Your welcome" Kao said. "Well you can go now but tomorrow we will go hang out ok?" Mystery said. Kao nodded and head towards the door. "Bye Mystery" Kao said. "Bye" Mystery said. Kao let leaving Mystery alone. Mystery walked home with a small while on his face. 'Tomorrow is a new day' Mystery thought. Soon he fell asleep.
