Here is chapter 8.
Scene 1: On the road
As they were returning back home from a long drive, an ice-cream parlour caught Suman's attention.
Sumo: Shravan! Shravan! Stop the car!
Shravan stops the car.
Shravan: Yes? Anything wrong?
Sumo: You see the ice cream parlour there?
Shravan see the ice cream parlour and his mouth starts to water.
Shravan: Are you thinking what I am thinking?
Sumo: Let's go and have some ice cream!
They get out of the car. Shravan locks the car and they both go to the ice cream parlour.
Scene 2: Ice Cream Parlour
While Sumo is having and relishing on her favourite lollipop flavour ice cream in a cup, Shravan licks his chocolate hazelnut ice cream in a cone.
Suman looks the watch and smiles.
Sumo: By the way happy birthday huh.
Shravan: You remember?
Sumo: Why won't I remember? Don't be silly.
Shravan: Glad you remembered.
Sumo: By the way what are your plans for tomorrow?
Shravan: Nothing much, actually maybe going out, hang out with Dii and Pushkar, you wanna join?
Sumo: I don't mind.
Shravan: Okay then.
Just then Suman remembers something,
Sumo: Oh no. I am sorry Shravan, I can't make it for tomorrow.
Shravan: Anything urgent?
Sumo: I have something on.
Shravan: It's okay I understand. But I would have been happier if you joined us.
(Making a puppy face)
Sumo: Aww Shravan if you say like this, I really have to cancel my plans.
Shravan: Then cancel your plan!. What are you waiting for?
Sumo: But?
Shravan: Is it really urgent?
Sumo: Yeah...
Shravan: It's fine then.
Sumo: I hope, you didn't mind.
Shravan: Nope. Not at all.
Sumo: Are you sure?
Shravan: Yes I am.
Sumo: I am sorry.
Shravan did feel bad the fact Sumo won't be able to make it for his birthday celebrations tomorrow. But seeing her feeling so sorry, he can't certainly be angry with her. He did wanted her to join, but maybe it's something really urgent.
Shravan: Don't say sorry, okay.
Sumo: Alright.
While talking, long ago they finished their ice cream, they didn't realise when time passed by until realisation strike Shravan's mind on the time and he looked at his watch.
